This was sitting on my kitchen counter when I got home. It's from JWraps and was just made for the Radius this week. It's a perfect, I mean perfect fit and follows the exact contour of the Radius!

Absolutely agreed. I got mine on Monday. Very seldom am I pleasantly surprised to find that something I ordered, sight unseen, is better than I expected. This is one of those occasions. It fits perfectly in my cupholder, and the Radius has a nice snug home while I'm on the move. Great job, JWraps!

Do the cup-holders come with the carbon fiber wrap? If so is it already installed? I was thinking about ordering one but would prefer just plain black.

Naturally, even though Provape got my replacement out today, the Post Office has deemed this "very important vape mail" and given a THREE day shipping estimate instead of the normal 2-day. I'm stuck until Saturday!

Now, you've touched on a combo that is VERY near and dear to a lot of hearts, here on the ECF...
A Provari and Kayfun/Russian is hands down one of the most potent vaping setups available. Pretty much any combo of any version/generation of each will be right.

Now, with this setup, you get new territory. With that territory, comes lots of "advice" and build tips from people. Be ready to take that info with a grain of salt.

That being said, I've got a build you may be interested in...
After years of playing with these Kayfun/Russian devices, I've found my nirvana and I'd like to share.
I use 28g Kanthal, and I wrap it around a #6-32 machine screw (I got the 2" long ones so there's plenty to grab onto). I wrap it 5.5 times, starting with the wire on the "away" side of the screw.
This yields me a 1.1-1.3 ohm coil, and the diameter allows for great wicking. Once it's installed on the deck, I position it about 1mm above the airflow.
I fire these coils at 10 watts on my P3, or 3.4-3.6 volts on my 2.5 models.
Also, if you're interested, I've use the following article to get my Kayfuns to sit flush on my 2.5's, with the Tatroe beauty rings I bought back in the day from Cigtechs. It apparently works with the SM rings too.

Is that screw 3.5mm in diameter? That's huge. I'll have to try that, using 2.5mm on my Kayfun/Russians now. I've always found the Russians a little finicky with wicking.

If you go to JWraps and click on it, you can order it either way, carbon fiber wrapped or all black.

So there was no 2-3 week delay, as stated on ProVape's website? I ordered mine yesterday (black onyx), perhaps I'll get a shipping notification sooner than the advertised timeframe?

I am absolutely in love with this setup and will definitely attempt the build you suggested this weekend. I'm planning on picking up a KF4 sometime down the line (the Radius ate up a lot of my vaping budget!). I've also noticed a lot of people praising the Kabuki tank. I'm curious to try that one out as well. Time to start putting together my Christmas list!
