Oh no ... I've been charging my Radius overnight and until the last 3 times the lightening bolt has been 'off' in the morning. Now the lightening bolt is not going away. I'm concerned that the charging circuit might not be shutting off and the batt could potentially get over-charged.

I think this was brought up earlier in the thread but don't remember the 'results' of the discussion. Off to open a case w/ Provape and search the thread for 'lightening bolt'.

I wouldn't get too hung up on the lightning bolt Mike. It's not uncommon to see the bolt when you first push the button after charging all night. The charging system on your Radius goes down to a trickle at the end. The action of pushing the power button could (and does) seem to wake the unit up and if the charge cycle finished hours ago (it does only take about 3 hours to fully charge a Radius), then what you're seeing is the cycling on and off of the charging system.

I second that. In fact, I recall @Vape360 mentioning that a few weeks ago.

It's just odd. For weeks it was always just showing the full batt symbol in the morning. And now the last 3 overnight charges the lightening bolt is still displayed. Just seems something changed to causing the new behavior.

You can open a ticket if it would make you more comfortable, but honestly, what you're describing has been normal behavior on both Radii I've had. I just wouldn't worry about it.

Search is helpful along w/ the good people here in the thread, so I have something to search.

From the man himself:

When you press the button to check the charge state after its fully charged, that single press is causing the lightening bolt to come on again because it uses a small amount of power. This is putting the unit back into trickle charging. It's just a little too sensitive at the moment but it is fully charged at that point.

We will adjust this on the next software update. We also have on the update list to add the Led indicator to the charge state so the button led will light up when charging to indicate the status. This feature will also have a toggle on/off.

:)

Did you see the note from MB in the WE thread?
Wizard EVOLVED

I sure did! If previous prices are a reasonable indicator (the DNA30 WEAII is still listed for 250 euros on MB's website), I expect the limited DNA40 model to go for at least the same price. At current exchange rates, 250 euros is approximately $275. Compared to the $90 I paid for the DNA30 version, that figure is a bit out of my ballpark. Besides, from what I understand, the DNA30 version can be upgraded to DNA40. Perhaps I'll look into it sometime down the line.

Edit: After reading a bit more about the DNA40 upgrade, this is waaaaaay outside of my personal scope of capability. Oh well!

Got my blue radius today kinda wish I got the black but never mind that I think the radius is a better vape then the the p3. It seems to be even more consistent.

Mine was supposed to come in the mail yesterday and it looks like I won't even be getting it until Monday. My tracking just says "delayed" with no other info. :-x

Holidays are playing havoc with vape mail. Finally received my Radius yesterday (note to self: get daughter to wrap it this weekend else I'll cave at some point just to take a peek). Priority shipping took 3 days in this case, but got a nicotine order that's not budged since the 8th coming from a similar region of the country.

Going to be a LONG two weeks :(

Although maybe that means I'll get to play with some of the B, M, O, & G by the time I have it in hand we've heard so much about ;)

Yes, "Temper Control" is the latest innovation in aggravation mitigation software. It's amazing!!

And what's really terrific is they built more TC into the Beta Software for the Radius. Yes they most certainly did!
