Got home to some serious vape mail - three bottles of The Milkman and an authentic kayfun V4 with a P3 adaptor. I quickly built a 1.6 ohm coil, filled the tank and vaped away. I immediately understood why this tank has such a hefty price tag. Ridiculous amounts of overengineering aside, the quality of the vape is incredible. The flavor, the cloud production...it's all there. I'm now debating on whether or not it'll be joining me on my trip to London!

So now you're an Elitist teaser :D!

I wouldn't have it any other way. No I would not!

The Famous One and Only Shrinking Feature.
It goes like this: I buy a Radius, push a special button combination and it shrinks to a mini hamster size with a 18350 inside.

Sir Rod, your new profile pic works as designed, I can't help laughing hysterically each time I see it. Hilarious! (Yes I know who made it)

It is quite fitting for the Holidays. I'm glad you like it!

So since BG has left the house why don't Ya tell us what it was? [emoji4]

OK......just for you. Blueberry and Grape. Now, you're all up to speed!

Can anyone explain the battery meter on the radius to me? It is always jumping around, showing 3/4 full, then it will jump up to 9/10 full, etc.

The battery meter is constantly monitoring your use against how much juice is left in the battery. As you vape more, it goes down. If you take a break, it takes new measurements and you may see the meter go back up to give you a better idea of how much charge you have left. It's designed to keep doing that as you vape throughout the day. This is how the meter can go up and down.

From the Radius User Manual:

The battery gauge tells you how much energy is available to the atomizer. This new approach is a little
different than a typical battery percentage meter. Most percentage meters, like on your cell phone, “count
down” so the battery level is always going down until you reach 0%. The ProVari Radius works more like
an average mileage calculator on a car. As you speed up (or raise your power level), the miles per gallon
will go down because you are using more fuel. As you slow down (lower your power level), the miles per
gallon go up. This is a much more accurate way of telling the user how much energy is left in the battery
for the atomizer to use. This number changes basedon the power level you have the Radius set to along
with your style of vaping. You will notice that the percentage will adjust as you change settings and it’s
perfectly normal for it to go back up as the battery recovers between uses. When you first insert your
battery, you will see two question marks: ??. This simply indicates the Radius is evaluating the battery
and after 1-2 puffs, it will update the status of the battery. When the battery runs out, the device will alert
you with an “Empty” alert on the screen and the LED will flash red. At this time, recharge the battery.

I keep hearing about all you guys 'n gals that love the Kayfun V4, it must be nice.

I came across a Tobeco clone of the V4 and I hated it. The engineering made it a PIA to work with and clean, but my biggest problem was the flavor was very poor. I'm wondering if the authentic might be worth a try and that it's just the clone was a complete failure. I only do authentic vape gear now, but the bad experience with the clone has made me leery of the big price tag. If somebody out there has experience with both clone and authentic, please chime in.

Maybe a good deal will show in the classies.

I got a good deal on a nearly new KF4 with a ton of spare parts, so I decided to pull the trigger and go for it. I'm by no means an expert when it comes to coil building, but I've had enough practice with my Russian 91%. The KF4 definitely has a better draw, flavor and vapor production.

For Real?????? Definitely don't tell him. Cuz for sure he wouldn't want to know when I googled "Drunk Bum" his picture came up early in the search results. No, don't tell him that.

I think having your picture show up with that search term is much worse than having your picture posted on a vaping forum.

Yeah, high VG juices shouldn't be a problem but I vape at 70pg/30vg (gotta have that throat hit!) but it hasn't leaked for the past hour or so of vaping. I guess the true test will come when I fill it up again tonight. Hopefully it only leaks when it gets really cold.

Being too cold can be a problem with a number of tanks. I learned that back with the original Protank. When the thick glass was cold the the coil would heat the liquid, but not fast enough to warm up the glass and the juice would come out of the bottom. I started making it a habit to warm the tank up in my hands or near a heater before I vaped it.

How about everyone make a list of what they think the new feature(s) might be, and once revealed, see how close everyone came?

#1 - The Ocelot will have to make arrangements to update somewhere else, since it won't be Mac compatible. :(

Sir Rod, ... ya really should take that new AV for a cruise in the new members threads ... ya know, welcome some new vapers :vapor:

Or a different friendly forum. Just start a thread titled, "I love my Radius/Kabuki combo." I guarantee you'll feel the love...

I don't have a Kayfun V4, but I have 2 KFLs, one authentic and one clone. I can tell that the authentic is better made, but I haven't noticed any difference in the flavor. Neither puffed my tootle.

R.I.P. BG. Maybe we'll see it return in a future release. ProVape definitely made the right choice. Hopefully not too much longer 'till general release. I haven't found any other issues. One more blessing on B7 and we should be good to go.

How about everyone make a list of what they think the new feature(s) might be, and once revealed, see how close everyone came?
LOL. Stop it, you betas! Go charge your batteries or something.

My problem is I have a USB power strip with an OFF switch. We're in the habit of turning things off to save from the trickle drain all power supplies have. So, without a charging indicator, I've plugged an empty Radius in for hours only to come back and find it wasn't charging.

I also use a USB power strip; however, mine is an Anker PowerPort 10 I bought on Amazon. It also has a power switch, but on the front is a blue LED that is on when the switch is on, so I know it is on when I plug in my Radius or Apple devices. Just a thought :)

The power of the hair ribbons has gone to his head.

Power of the ribbons, huh? Is that why the richest girl in elementary school, the one who never had to disgrace herself by wearing an outfit more than once, who's father was the owner of the only drug store in our little town, and who lived in the big brick home and who wore red ribbons in her hair, was a total Biatch? She went on to be big 'ol druggie in HS. I'd love to see what she looks like today. I bet it's no prettier than I am in Pigtails. Payback is hell, or so they say.........LOL

LOL.....Not taking that bet on for anything. No I'm not!

Take it with you. I haven't been able to find anything I like better. I like the vape quality a buuuuunch. Builds too easy, wicks too easy and fills way too easy. But you have to nail the build like anything. Authentics rule!!

Or not. There's another thread (name on tip of my tongue) in which people left here for there cause they felt their opinions about the Kabuki would keep getting sliced to hell here.
