It didn't make much difference to me. If anything, I wondered if the constant green on was taking something from the charged battery?

I hear ya. I just liked rolling over in the morning and seeing a happy green light rather than me seeing a blank LED and immediately thinking, "Frak! Did I forget to plug it in again?" Just a personal flavor type thing. Maybe if I quit drinking wine it would not be as much of a problem, but, umm, that aint gonna happen.

Sera is simply BEAUTIFUL and quite appropriate for The Ocelot!

That you Santa for the teal scratching pad.

Shhhh, neither Emi nor Eri have figgered out they could could use the place mat as a scratching pad.

Couldn't agree more. I personally could care less whether my Radius tells me the volts. I've completely switched over to watts now. I'm still not sure why some people want to hold onto what used to be?

I could see going back and forth being a teensy bit confusing, depending on how often you have to actually change the power level

She's the closest I will get to a wild cat; spotted and a prolific hunter.

Karl......in the setting for charging, select Boff. That is the Blue to off Charging selection. It works just fine on my Radius with v19
I would like to apologize for a previous post stating that the ver 19 software for Radius wasn't working...I reloaded it and everything is fine...the nut (me) on the end of the bolt was the problem...embarrassed :(

Those were the two major changes.

Ver 19

Charge indicator - you can now set the led to come on blue when plugged in and charging and go dark once it's charged. This new feature is located under SET then lightening bolt icon. You will have the option to turn off or B-off (Blue then off)

2. We now have a manual menu mode. This is for all who didn't like the auto scrolling menu. You can now change the menu to manual by going into SET - DIS - MENU. Setting this to MAN will stop the icons from scrolling and you can take control by using the plus and minus buttons.

It will take us a few days to update the website with the changes and roll out the change email but we wanted to get our friends on ECF the first round.

Cheers

No Mac? :(

Its a bit of a pain but you can get virtualbox for free and then download windows 10 from modern.ie for free too, it won't let you do much and the windows will have to be reset/image reinstalled after 3 months but it would work for occassional radi updates.

My work powerbook has windows 10 on vmware for my current project otherwise i would be doing virtual box and modern.ie for sure.

Not paying hundreds of bucks for a windows license just to gentthe updates. Love you provape but that's silly talk.

Just call it an adult moment and don't worry. We all have 'em. Just glad you don't have an issue.

Sorry.....if I were to guess though, I won't be surprised to see a Mac Updater in the future.

Yea its not even from the inside out.

That might be an issue. coils should heat from the middle outward with all the wires the same intensity (if any are brighter it indicates a hot spot). With dual coils not only should they fire from the middle outward, but they should fire at the same time. If the coils aren't firing correctly, the Radius might be reading it incorrectly.

Another thing to keep in mind is the Boost setting. If your resistance is 0.4 and the Boost is set too high, the Radius may be giving you and alert that the ohms are too low for it to fire the Boost. These are just a couple of ideas (in addition to the previous post about the watts possibly being set too high).

How long does the update take? I'm thinking it might be easier to take a Xanax and go to my step-father's house.

It is very quick - 2 minutes from connection to launch the updater, to disconnect.

ETA: A bit longer if you have to install the update program first but shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes if you do - probably half that time.

Lol!

download the provape program 2 to several minutes, unzip, install, plug in radius .. Start program... Update takes 1 to 2 minutes.

Uh, oh. He knows nothing about computers, but thinks he does. I can just imagine him standing over my shoulder insisting that unzipping the installation program will give his computer a virus. And then I will have to uninstall the program immediately because "it will take up too much space" (his PC is less than a year old and has no programs of any size installed) and then wait to go to dinner while he runs 3 virus detecting programs to make sure there is nothing there.

Downloading windows 10 and virtual box.. That will be an overnighter

Please send me a PM with more detailed instructions.
