My guess is that it's an updated version of the P3 board.
Vape360 said it was completely different :)

Hi there,

The Radius actually uses a completely different circuit board than the P3 but when you see the Radius you will notice that while it's a small opening, we magnify the screen through the lens so it looks much bigger. It's actually very easy to see. It's sized mostly to keep things compact. We have optimized everything so it fits this screen well.

We are going to talk about the USB port more tomorrow, or later today I should say, so I think we can answer your other question soon.

Cheers

Happy Thursday!! This week is flying by.

Looking ahead - Friday will be a break from photos and a fun announcement about the contest that I think you will enjoy.

Tuesday - We will have the website launched and pre-orders start at 10am PST.

Photo Time!

Last photo is of the Ghost White. Made with real ghosts

We found out yesterday that one of our vendors is delayed on getting some of the parts made for this one. Maybe they are having a hard time finding ghosts?
The ghost white won't be ready for a few weeks. For the pre-order, we will have the black, red and blue available and then the white will join the family in the near future.

I see some comments about TC and the big question...Is ProVape ready for TC?

Temp Control/Temp Limiting or as some refer to it as 'temperature guessing', I see a lot of comments on both sides. Please don't do it or I really hope you have it.

What I can say at this time regarding TC is until it's been perfected we won't put it out. I've heard about a lot of negative experiences with TC and many have commented that they are tired of fiddling with it. Sometimes it works, other times it does not and everything in between.

It has not been perfected yet and until it has, we won't put our name on it just to say we have it.
Once we feel it's ready, accurate, hassle-free and a great experience, then it will be the right time.

Which color Angi?!?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will only do black or silver/titanium mods (unless someone ever rolls out the perfect shade of purple) sooooooo since the last color was white  I'm goin with black depending on specs and price. I could care less about TC so that doesn't upset me at all.

I can guarantee there will not be a mech mode. It would go against everything ProVape has been doing, and hopefully continue to do. It is also highly unlikely to have TC. There are to many variables in TC to make it reliable for the average consumer. At this point TC is nothing more then a fiddlers toy.

If I were to make a guess I would say somewhere around 30 watts with a single 18650. This is a tool to get people off cigarettes. ProVape has never catered to the hobbyist side of vaping and it is highly unlikely they will move in that direction. If that's what you want you will have to look elsewhere. It will have rock solid reliability, be relatively light with the new materials being used, and it will take a licking and keep on ticking.

So far I still haven't gotten into anything with temp control and haven't seen one issue of some newer APV not having it. The problem I see often enough is high drain batteries seeing roughly 3100mah while sealed batteries are now climbing at 4500 and soon enough longer powering 50w and 60w regulated mods still not seeing temp control.

Here it was never about clouds or thrills but about effectiveness when trying out a volume of batteries and mods of various types to find what does work. Vaping as hardwares have been improving vastly over the last two years time alone has provided the means for never seeing ever again as that had been previously been a means to an end. For the last 50yrs. cursed with allergies to a number of things which mainly look at the pollen and dust as the two main culprits vaping menthol had been found to be a bit more effective as well as "Much Cleaner" as we all know then ... cough gag lung disease specials!

As for finding the increase in vapor offered by sub ohm tanks having a beneficial end result mods with 30+ watt outputs and some compact in size are more to the goals here since I am able to keep one with me at all times. Trying a mod to see a mech turned into a regulated mod managed to fry the fire button on one tube mod. The only mech I will be using at this time would be an epipe running with the 18350 size and mostly for those other flavors you don't vape often and want to try a new one out for short vape sessions only.

Just to clarify what I mean by mech. mode.... You get vape with the voltage drop of battery until it hits a preset limit and will only fire down to preset ohm limit. I have no problem looking else where.... I fully aware of Provapes reputation and values :)

Well said :)

First, I hope everyone finds a device that suits their individual needs. Whatever device you use or juice you vape is fine with me. All that has ever mattered is that "YOU" no longer smoke or become a dual user. The net net is THR.

I tend to view the Radius to some exstent as a "proof of concept" device and that term is widely used in the business world and carries no negative connotation. Specifically in the Vaping universe and for me it means:

- Will it sell and will they make a reasonable profit
- Will it be embraced and sold to a "segment" of the market which is new for ProVape
- Will current users buy it

If this first step is a home run and I think it may be, then looking forward, new ProVape box mods will embrace features we are unlikely to see in this first roll out. Stuff like "metal" in various forms, more features, more power, TP/TL etc. And maybe stuff none of US can imagine. :)

I look forward to the specs and I am hopeful that the Radius will join my current family of 4 ProVape devices.

:)
