Ok not a noob by any means. But I don't feel like reading through all of the posts. What is with the hamster reference???
I do believe it was blown way out of proportion.

I didn't quite get it myself. But then I'm not up on any inside jokes and have no problem with any of the vaping styles. (If that is what all that was referring).

In the words of the Ocelot: I haz confused....

I just tried a quick google but came up short. It doesn't seem to specify on the provape website so I figured this is good a place as any to ask.

The extender cap for the 2.5. Can I use flat top 18650's with it? TIA for any help.

No. nipple top AW or Efest will work with the 2.5. On the P3, most batteries will work.

It is not a reference, it is a rodent. Hamsterification means the transformation of rodent motion into amperes.

No. Flat top batteries work with the P3. The rest of the Provari family take the button top batteries.

Time will tell on what the Radius will take....
Dang. I was hoping I could just use my flattops I already have in rotation to use with my 2.5 and various others. Hmmm well guess I won't bother with the extension cap for the 2.5. I like to keep things simple. Just get some more 18500's for the 2.5 when these ones eventually die.

Thanks for the info.

Not sure where we are at on this new provari thing. Last Sat morning, I tripped and fell while working in the yard, breaking my hip, so since then have been away from the forum. Really hard to use this phone in hospitals, and rehabs. Don't know when I'll be able to check back in, but I'm sure this thread will still be going. Lost track of the CLassic l was kinda watching in the classies, but there will be others. Nite, nite all.
Sir Rod hit the nail on the head...be diligent with your rehab! Do EXACTLY what they tell you! Speedy recovery!

I notice my 2.5 when I have 18490's in there it is kinda loose like I can shake the mod and they rattle. Just kind of annoys me so I am planning on getting 18500's for the next batch.
Try stretching your spring...I believe the 490 and 500 are the same size.

Yes, I did that with my Provape-1 (14500) and it helped (thanks to Enaud).
You know I did try the stretch spring thing and idk didn't seem to work. Mind you I was pretty paranoid to pull it to hard :/

I have used an 18500 in it before and it fits nice and snug.

Thanks for the suggestions.

ETA : Oh and I believe the 18500's are just a smidgen bigger than the 18490. I remember reading somewhere that battery names are the measurements. For example the 18 is GASP the radius!

Really?!?!? I never thought to try a flat top. I just went with what is recommended by ProVape.

Yup I have been using Samsung 25R's in my Classic since I bought it. Never an issue. Now my 2.5 I stick with nothing but the recommended button top AW's.

Yeah I try to stay out of the inside joke stuff myself because many times it gets personal. I'm getting a kick out of tootlepuffer. Which not being a sub ohm cloud chaser apparently I am. I remember seeing that reference a year ago and never again. it has reappeared.

I'm interested in what will be in this. Looks nice from all the pics I have seen. And since it does have a USB port could be a built in battery, upgrades maybe. I know Provape has us all sitting on the edge of our seats waiting..:)

1 x replacable 18650. The port is for charging and upgrades.

I'd like to know who comes up with these funny words? I just heard this word for the first time a couple weeks ago and read it as Tootie puffer. Tootie??? I was like WTH is that? Tootle doesn't sound much better tho. LOLOLOLOLOL
