Sometimes I end up removing the battery and putting it in a 2.5 to see the remaining voltage. I would also like it if there was a low battery blink and it didn't just shut off.

I don't go that far ... but when it gets into the 40's I consider it time to change the batt. I can vape it for hours from full charge 'till it show 'like' 42% ... then it seems to rapidly decrease from that point. (I use the black banded AW 18490's & they're all relatively new)

You would have been equally upset if it were the brass beauty or Reliant I bet, I imagine the brass beauty would have taken it in stride though since it's soft but dense.
Yes, the "brass beauty" wouldn't have.missed a tick...just come away with a.battle scar.

The reliant fell off of my stereo case this morning

One of the top plate screws is stripped now, but other then that, it's perfectly fine....can't tell it dropped to look at it, still works :whew:

What's with me dropping mods lately?

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping

I don't know but I wish they would release a silicone sleeve for the Reliant, it's not grippy whatsoever.

I'm glad it survived, you would be down two great devices instead of one.

I didn't buy into the fanboism until i saw for myself how some can't handle differences of opinion or concerns about the possible reliability of an open hole on the side of a nod...

They are a die hard bunch, Provarinatti make the Chevrolet vs Ford crowd look like a bunch of amateurs :)

INTERESTING.

I had heard that because people with a really low IQ didn't really understand that their IQ was low, and therefore couldn't be upset about it.

I think building a mod where IQ doesn't MATTER, is probably a good bet.
:D

If a mod required a high IQ to function properly, you'd clearly be missing a large market segment - proof right here on ECF I think! - and we KNOW how people get upset if ProVape doesn't maximize their market potential!!

Hello,

On the IQ feature, we have removed it from the Radius. With a new style connection to the battery that bypasses the spring, it's no longer needed :)

I've learned to love the P3 battery % gauge -- though I'd like the ability to check the voltage, too.

You have made me realize that there IS a deal breaker for me and the Pro-Rad --- that darn blinking light when the battery is low. Please, if it can't be turned off by turning off the device, or some other easy method, I will not be purchasing until that isn't so. I like the warning -- but not all night at my bed stand or in my pocket or purse.

My Provi minor complaints through the years ---

1. too heavy (thank you Ti and Radii for amending that)
2. can't turn off the blink even by turning off the device. (I've had too many batteries fall out due to having to loosen the battery -- and dropping batteries isn't a great safety thing).

3. the the third which is now pretty much moot --- Brand exclusivity and vaping style the same was expected by many of the fans.
4. I hated that it was a tube mod -- but got over that ages ago. :) Now, with Radii

Don't care one way or the other about the IQ reading ... rarely use it ... actually probably haven't used it since I got a P3.

Now ... the battery gauge ... that I'd like to see roll back to displaying the batt voltage ... not the per cent estimated remaining.

I do miss being able to read the voltage drop between battery on and battery off like you can with the 2.5.

I've gotten very good at estimating the amount of battery I have left with the 2.5.

I don't have a clue with the percentage reading on the P3.

It's ProVarinati. If you can't spell the name of my cult correctly I will flame you. ;)

@TheOcelot --- the P3 does have battery blink (yellow) on low battery -- when it's at 20%. (too high IMHO). It was part of the last P3 upgrade. I don't know what happens with the 2015 Classic.

Mine doesn't. I didn't know about the blink and I didn't get the upgrade. No vendors around here offered it and I didn't need the features enough to send it in.

Yes. Apparently customers requested it.

It may go off after 25 blinks or so --- but if you vape again the sequence starts over. So, I either change the battery really early if I'm by my battery arsenal, or vape with blinks for awhile, just letting it run to cut off point. (On the 2.5, I swap the battery out right away as it only vapes for a few pulls after the blink started. With the button light turned off, there is no earlier advanced warning.)

The other change I noticed from the upgrade is the cut off for battery -- I often now charge it at 3.2 or 3.3. It was higher before most of the time.

I never even looked for the "puff counter $ saved feature" and have forgotten how to check IQ. All else is easy peasy.

My Classic blinks when it's down to about 20% on the bar...

I didn't get into the USB debate because they make water resistant and even waterproof USB ports. Seeing that the technology has been out since before the first smartphone, I just have to trust that ProVape would pick one of the best out there to use.
As for a hole in the side of a Mod, I would Not use a Mod that Didn't have a hole in the side or at least some way to let it vent if the battery vents. :)
