The USB is question of durability not a pre requisite or even deal breaker. I'm still buying 4 Radiuses...
Well, I dropped my 'Vari in a toilet. Wasn't trying to make a point...I just did. Works fine.
But I hope my Radius (when I WIN ONE!!) stays mostly dry.
Also -
I am glad it HAS a usb - but I also hope it's quick and easy to swap the battery, because that is my preferred method of charging.
To ME - and yes, this is clearly personal preference - USB has downsides for charging.
- BUT USB ports DO cause trouble. I've had them fail on laptops frequently.
- And when it's charging, to me, it's down. I know some are excited about pass-thru, but I don't want to vape a "tethered" device, don't really want it charging unattended, and so when it's charging I need to vape something else.
- I can pretty conveniently carry an extra battery and swap mid-day. I can't conveniently plug something into a USB port for a couple hours mid-day...and carry something else to vape while it's charging.
SO - like I said, glad it has one, hope I only would need it for updates.

The thing about the cloud was a joke - just poking fun at the way Apple software kind of assumes things about what to name things and where to store them, etc.
I DO like the hardware, but I find it really cumbersome to do the things I, personally, need to do on a computing device.
I've also had a lot of frustrating experiences with iTunes - both the bloat, and the way accounts are or are not linked (like for a kid), etc.
I was actually OK with my iPhone when I had it - but I'm also OK with what I have now.+
EDIT - well, maybe. Dropped it on the tarmac at SEATAC yesterday, shattered my glass. I can no longer say "I've never broken a screen..." when giving my daughter crap about the fact that she's on about her 4th iPhone glass replacement...

Itunes just does way way too much now, i shudder to think what the codebase is like. Still, i like em. Great for development and you can have the swooshy wooshy eye glitter and then open a terminal and go all black and white pipey pipe

Good for you and I'm glad you came out unscathed. I don't know or for that matter really care if you submerged your brand new Galaxy on purpose. I'm just the kind of person who takes extremely great care of my things and I wouldn't ever intentionally submerge anything that shouldn't be submerged. Heck, I have dive watches, some rated to 1000 meters and I don't get them wet.

But, I want My Hamster to be able to go to 40 ft.Hamster also rated for 20 ft. submersion.
