Really could use this at a few watts (I wouldn't)

Those look like they need to be charged.

I used to do exactly the same thing...until I started vaping. From what I've learned since, the onboard USB charger will only accept the amount of current up to its maximum rated capacity (in the case of the Radius, that's 800 mA). Any USB wall charger that provides at least that much current can be used (smaller ones can also be used...it'll just take longer to charge). If a USB wall charger can provide more current, it's not a problem either...the onboard USB charger will regulate this.

One interesting thing I've noticed with this is that, if you're using the same power source to charge more than one device, whichever device you plug in first will take priority, and thus the lion's share of the current, from the source--depending on the output of the source, of course.

For example, in the sleeper berth of my truck I have a 2A 12-volt USB adapter with two outlets, which I frequently use to charge both my phone and my istick at the same time. I've noticed that if I plug my istick in before my phone, my phone won't charge as quickly as it would if it were plugged in first or by itself. I can have my iStick charging, and if I plug my phone in at say 40%, it will stay at 40% until my mod is charged, and then begin actually charging. My phone won't discharge at all, but it won't charge either until the other thing is done drawing current through the adapter.

All that being said, that Limefuel thing looks very interesting and useful, and at $30 I might just have to pick one up.

How would that get charged in the first place?

you have to plug it in and charge it, it takes about 6 hours to charge. I see they have an upgraded version too for only $10.00 more on Amazon. I have had one for a while now and they are great if you are going to be out and about someplace where you have no access to charge your devices.

Which I noticed in the Amazon listing isn't included...

It's kind of like which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Yep...it's a vicious cycle...the Limefuel needs a 2 amp USB wall charger for optimum charging speed (and a cable that will support this).

Which I gather isn't the kind that came with my iPhone...

And if you're curious about what happens during a charging cycle, throw a couple of these (KCX-017 USB Terminal Power Tester) in the basket the next time you're shopping at Fast Tech...very helpful to see the actual charge rate and they can also be used to test your USB cables. Cables are not all created equal...some can only accept 500 mA, which really slows things down.

It was me that got the purple one. It's the weirdest purple I've ever seen and unlike the photographs. Never really found any accessories to match it. It's covered with a Serenity Gear sleeve anyway so I barely see the color. And yes, I still use it.

I would do the opposite. I would wait to see the red in person or at least read reviews by people who got them. Black is black, but (as I hate to admit) whomever takes the studio pictures of ProVape products has a history of getting some of the colors a bit off.

ETA: I forgot who it was that got one of the original purples based on photographs, then when it arrived had a heck of time trying to find other gear that matched.

Just got done reading...wow.

Especially all the hoo-ha about Apple...

I was laughing so hard, there were tears in my eyes, and now my ribs hurt...

Oh you people...the silly things the 50+ age group will talk and debate about...

P.S. I'm well aware there are some 45-50yr olds here too...but at 30, you're all the same to me.
You may be experienced in life, but the things you think about modern technology just amuses me to no end.
Definitely not looking forward to the day my kids (or people their age) will laugh at me and my v2.5...
