DNA40 has a 16amp limit, so not the same specs.

Not that this is an issue, I just wanted to understand what the limitations were. :)
Serviceable life of the mod is important to me.

The device is VERY pocket friendly... easy to lock and unlock... and since the cat is out of the bag that I had a couple delivered to me in time for vape Bash his past weekend, I can say that It hasn't fired in my pocket, even without locking it... but ya SHOULD lock it... it's so easy... I was being lazy.
I deny ever seeing said devices!!!

LOLz, Jim

I really don't know what to do. I want at least one more high quality regulated box mod but I can't decide between the Radius and another M class. I've been using the M class for several months now and it's been flawless for me. The ergonomics and placement of the fire button are also brilliant. The Radius is made by a company that also has a great track record. What to do... what to do?

unfortunately I won't be getting one :(. 40W just doesn't cut it for me on a daily basis, I vape at 42-45W with a dual coil that rests at .27 ohms. It is such a sad day for me, i was looking forward for the Cabernet and Midnight Blue :(. Provape, if you ever make a single 18650 device that does at least 45-50W, I'll be the first in line.

I daily the SX Mini M-Class, and that chip is as accurate as can be. I'll probably go to an authorized reseller and play with one and see what happens. Maybe it'll convince be to use a thinner gauge wire for the same vape experience I have now.

I think you're on to something here... Check one out at a dealer before you decide for sure. At VaperCon one guy, trying to PROVE the Radius wasn't enough for him took his Atty off his PV, put it on the Radius and fired the button... turning it up as he went... he stopped at 35 watts (or so) and said... "wow.. it's driving it... I'm at FULL POWER on my iStick 50"

As they say, YMMV, but in this case... it's actually true.

I must say that losing voltage control is a little disconcerting. I'm fine using wattage, especially with ProVape's accuracy, but I like volts.

I have always preferred voltage myself, especially with a device like the ProVari 1-3 where the menu is a lot more complicated than pushing the up and down button, but on the Radius, it's pretty darned simple, and I don't miss voltage at all... took a couple days, however, to be accustomed to it. Then I locked the wattage... then I stopped thinking about it.

I understand, but I'll repeat what I so often wrote when people clamored for VW (instead of VV).

For ME, the first "V" is the important part. As long as it's variable, I can work with it. My moods change, so my settings need to do be able to do the same.

I sent JWraps an e-mail and asked about a Radius cup holder. I will let you know when I hear back from them.

Thanks for doing that gnees! I'll be VERY interested to hear what/if they reply!

I think he got a D cup, but I maybe wrong. :)

If I keep eating at the office all the crap they keep bringing in (just today they had a B-Day cake, Artisan donuts (they're prettier, but taste pretty much like any donut I've ever eaten) and potato chips - just today) I may need larger than a D cup!

You got that right. Didn't do a thing today (work anyway), now tomorrow I took a vacation day to unwind from all this Radius tension that ya all caused me.
