That was Duanes reward for coming up with an Idea, making an official request, and it having enough merit to grow legs!

Well... that, and he shipped his device in a package I wouldn't re-use. Probably more the second reason than the first...

I know - and he absolutely deserves it. Unquestionably so too.

The Radius is a great looking mod no doubt, I would even consider picking one up but you can't compare it to the SX M Class. I own a couple of SX's as well as some DNA 40's and it's apples and oranges. The SX Mini isn't all that heavy and the battery cap comes off easy with a coin. Just as fast as unscrewing the two screws from the bottom of the Radius. The TL is outstanding and got even better with the new firmware release. If you want some nice battery caps that don't require a coin pick up one of these caps.

It's funny the SX get's slapped around now, it must be considered one of the best mods made since everyone is comparing to it.

The Blue Radius looks pretty nice, I may finally own a Provari.

I wasn't comparing them in terms of their specs. I was comparing them in terms of how well they fit different vapers needs.

The SX Mods are nice. I like mine just fine. But it's not going to be for everybody or anybody all the time imo. Same with the Radius.

Again YMMV.

There's no denying the M class is an outstanding mod and it's built like a tank. But the 2.5 and P3 are also outstanding mods in their class. Provape knows how to design a great mod.

@Marc411 @jwbnyc @Lemwise ...not knocking the SX because I was extremely close to pulling the trigger on one 3 weeks ago until I heard major issues with the paint chipping/flaking off. Some really upset people out there on the finish. You guys have this issue too? I also didn't get one because then the ML was coming out and then the Radius was announced.

Then I didn't have money for any of them. LOLOL

I daily the SX Mini M-Class, and that chip is as accurate as can be. I'll probably go to an authorized reseller and play with one and see what happens. Maybe it'll convince be to use a thinner gauge wire for the same vape experience I have now.

Yep. I understand your concerns. A friend of mine passed on the Radius for the same reason and I was darn close but decided yes after crunching some data. Kinda a shame since they are so very close. MAYBE, or IF, the firmware upgrade can emulate broadly speaking what they did with the P3 firmware upgrade. Specifically I mean via a firmware upgrade they raised the Amp limit and lowered the fire down resistance number for the P3.

Of course, you have to draw the line somewhere and I can certainly respect that. I could also respectfully dream up an idea that might produce some heat for me but my flame ......ant suit sits right next to my desk and my family of 4 ProVape devices will soon be 5! /lol

My guess theory: Pre-order and availability of client upgrade software for firmware tweaks are actually designed to evaluate the market demand from pre-order sales and evaluate Internet "talk", concerns that VIP users and reviewers have during the next 3 or 4 weeks or even longer for the client software. Then they ship the mod and provide the client software for download at a future date. Which may mean they tweak the firmware to mitigate the concerns and or objections. Personally, I don't mind waiting. Of course, gramps may be all wet so: Why is their a pre-order? Why isn't the client software available today?
