Nope it's an angel and I got a lazy one, just sitting there vaping away, not doing anything to help me get my Radius. He's making me mad.. If you look real close, he's smirking at me, maybe even laughing a bit, playing with my emotions..

wow.. ok, sorry about that. Jack and I had a long argument last night and the way I'm feeling this morning I can tell he won..

As of now, I'm preparing to hop a flight to Nashville, to rendezvous with my Mom, so she can have some help with the tragedy that has befallen her and my dad.

Two weeks ago, through no fault of their own, their motor home was totaled. 5 days later, my dad falls off an 8 foot ladder, bruising just about everything. Two days after this, Mom is involved in a golf cart accident at the dog show she is in charge of (big one in Nashville) shattering her hand, internally decapitating fingers...reattachment surgery on Monday.

BUT WAIT! There's more!
Call now, and we'll throw in Acute Myeloid Leukemia!
That's right folks, as of Monday, my bruised but otherwise healthy dad was rushed to the hospital after collapsing in the bathroom. Doctors immediately considered his fall as the cause of something bad, but a CAT scan revealed only the usual amount of cobwebs.
Then, a double order of blood work reveals that his white blood cell count (10-12 in "healthy" adults) has sky-rocketed to 150,000! [emoji322][emoji95][emoji323][emoji95][emoji322]
Doctors agree, it's AML. Patient is admitted post haste, and is almost immediately diagnosed with SEPTIC SHOOOOOCK!
That's right folks! An already bad long term diagnosis of AML, and life threw in septic shock!
Septic shock has a 40% survival rate in HEALTHY adults.

One of the doctors was kind enough to call me last night and give me the info with zero sugarcoating.
So, I'm in for an adventurous weekend to say the least.
Good news is, mom has some friends who have survived AML, granted they're on mess for the rest of their lives, but it's been almost a decade for one of them...which means getting over this hump is what dad needs to do.

I'm not being sarcastic. Even through all of this, I'm still fixated on the Radius (subconscious distraction I'm sure), and I can't wait to hear more about everyone's experience with it!

They've got him on massive doses of antibiotics. I'm just stunned and sitting at my desk not knowing what to do from Tampa.......Any prayers you guys can muster would be appreciated.

Thanks. I just spoke with my SIL and it's not good. I may be flying north later this afternoon. My brother is in bad shape with a massive blood infection. They've got him on massive doses of antibiotics. I'm just stunned and sitting at my desk not knowing what to do from Tampa.......Any prayers you guys can muster would be appreciated.

I know I'm not a ProVari die hard and don't know all of you well but we are all vapers, thoughts and prayers for your family as well.

It's funny, not funny ha ha but funny strange, how life can remind us what's important sometimes, family definitely trumps the next, best exciting new mod any day.

I just spoke with my brother and it looks like he'll make it through this. He has a massive blood infection, but they're shooting his blood with massive broad spectrum antibiotics (until they can determine the exact pathogen that got in his blood). He told me his body started shutting down in the middle of the night, so I can't tell you how lucky we are to still have him.

Thank you everyone for thinking about him.

A little production update. It's been a good week and production has ramped up nicely. We are now producing hundreds of devices per day, so shipping notices are flowing. Note that some dealers that hit us right at launch ordered hundreds of devices so those orders can chew up several days worth of production. We are working long hours and weekends to get orders out as quick as possible. We kindly ask for your patience while we get the backlog down. More shipping notices will be going out today!
