But I'm snarky, being an elitist, and I do have to poke at ONE thing he said on the next post, all in fun, but he'll understand... because I'm right.
SX has a joule "estimator", they kinda fudge the number.
To be fair, I've never scientifically tested it, but I did keep a log of full-to-empty battery cycles, always charging the same battery with the on-board USB charger. There are some inconsistencies, which are likely due to changing the output wattage, as well as "getting the last drop of power" by letting it sit a few minutes to creep above the cutoff voltage so I could fire it again, but judging by how many are so close together, I'd say it's doing a pretty good job of guessing. Set wattage (assuming it accurately achieves the set wattage), multiplied by time (and it does have a fast clock) and you have a pretty good guess. Here's the battery data:
