I loved the Sophia-but never got the life of the coil that you are. It was getting very expensive to order the coils from Greece. I still use it but not as much as before, mostly at home. Most times I left the house with only the Sophia--something went wrong and I was stuck without anything. It did not travel well either.
The Kayfun and I did not get along well either. I started with the 4 and--I am just not good at building.
I found I was using the nautilus more and more because of convenience and a fair amount of consistency.
The Kabuki for me is the answer to all my problems. It blows the Nautilus out of the water with vapor and flavor. It is easy to use and perfect to take out and about. I do now take a bottle of juice with me and an extra battery for the Provari. When the Radius arrives--I won't even need the extra battery.
I haven't traveled with it yet---but I think it will totally reduce all the 'stuff' I had to take with me.
I would say the Kabuki--beats the Sophia a bit with flavor and vapor too and is a lot more convenient for me to use.
They ship with a Samsung 25r (the green one, I believe). That's the one to get.Since I'm placing an order, what battery do I buy for the Radius? Might as well pick up another one just in case.
Thank goodness for Amazon...battery case will arrive at my buddy's house next Monday!ordering a battery case as we speak to send to him

So, out of curiosity, pulled the battery on my Radius just see what that would be like.
Not horribly bad, but I would not want to do that on a regular basis FYI.
I have one that's been in for 5 weeks. I swear it still vapes and taste's great. Using clear menthol juice. Please forgive me for not searching the Kabuki thread, but how long are the coils lasting for people?
I think this is the main reason I haven't bought one aside from price point. It's excellent for people that want to just plug in their mod, but the interchangeable batteries were a big selling point for me back when I bought my 2.5Just posting it as an FYI for those people who are interested in the Radius but not interested in having a thing with pulling the battery on a regular basis and it is definitely a thing to pull the battery out of the Radius.
Personally, I'd be looking elsewhere if I was needing to do that.
Given a choice, In-device USB charging is the way to go with this ProVari imo.
It's solid and tough, and looks great! So what does everyone who has a Radius think of the plastic? Is it a very high quality plastic or what?
I have been carrying mine in my pocket with my cell phone and a knife at work. For the past two days, and I have no scraps or scratches on it. Seems high quality and very hard. Ask me in a month and I'll take a picture of my pocket abuse for you.So what does everyone who has a Radius think of the plastic? Is it a very high quality plastic or what?

It's kind of interesting, but I like that the device isn't "cold" when I pick it up, and another user of the Radius made the same comment to me, in a colder environment it's actually nice to not be carrying a metal object all the time. Generically, we think of Plastic as looking cheap, and flimsy. Provape took a fairly big risk on using polycarbonate, some people have been reluctant because it's plastic... but honestly I think in the long run, they've opened a new chapter in PV design, and to me, it looks and feels really sold.
And his fellow employees wonder why Sir Rod can't answer the phone...No, it's not berry'ish at all. It's a nice Cabernet'ish Burgundy Wine'ish color.![]()
I really hope you have - I've always had a customs bill from provape purchases. Fed Ex tend to lull you into a false sense of security by delivering and then sending their customs/ handling charge a couple of weeks laterI live in a house with rubbish central heating and aluminium mods are uncomfortable to use in the winter, you always end with condensation on them until they warm up. I'm expecting the Radius to be super comfortable.
Luckily I won't have long to go until I find out, I've just woken up to find my Radius is out for deliveryTwo days from the US to the UK and it looks like I might have dodged the customs bullet
