Just received my Kabuki.... Didn't wash it, I got too excited and just filled with juice. Am I gonna die? LOL if need be, I'll dump the juice and rinse it out.

Ha, yeah, if you die you really should give it a thorough cleaning next time. :w00t:

1. What are you using now.
2. wattage
If you vape under 20 watts P3, over 20 but under 41 Radius.
Not using any...... been surfing.....found out provari releasing radius...
So should go straight to radius as my first e cig????? Or should go to classic or P3 to start with

Thats the ticket...

Green LED upon charging completion!

Brilliant!!!

IMO the PLUS or MINUS button, or both should light up green when done charging. I dont have my R yet, I would just imagine an implementation like this would be a no brainer, user friendly notification. The fire button might me too bright and annoying, for nightime charging. Not sure if the leds that illuminate all buttons are independent.

Radius is my vote for you. More versatile in case you go higher watts. Upgradable (easily). P3 I'd also but more annoying to do/send away. Long battery life. Looks sweet.

Hi there, new to provape....should i get a P3 to start with....or go straight to radius....???

IMHO it mostly depends on the form factor.

Do you want a tube that can be used with 3 different sized batteries, or do you prefer a tidy box?

Of course, the power is important for some vapors. The P3 is max 20 watts and the Radius max 40.

The menu's are quite similar, with the Radius having power up and down buttons for faster changing of the power. Great feature for some, not so important for others.

Most here have been very pleased with their ProVi purchases, some for many years. Any ProVi is a great choice -- the Radius is simply the newest design. Only you can choose the features you are drawn to the most.

Okay, someone 'splain' this to me.

Earlier tonight I lost connection to my NAS, opened up 'Network Preferences' on my MBPro and found that my Thunderbolt connection had been lost. Immediately below the information for my Thunderbolt connection sits "Radius". I've read this entire thread, and I think I read all of the manual, but saw nothing to explain why the Radius shows up in network connections. And, this is while the Radius is not connected to the charging cable. It says "Not Configured."

Anyone tell me why it's showing up like this?

Thanks so much for your input and passing along the suggestion.

- The core issue is "usability". Which procedure is easier: (a) Looking across the room and quickly seeing a Red fire button or a Green fire button or (b) walking up to the R and pressing the fire button to see the display?

- I own 4 box mods and all the others provide a visual cue with respect to the charging status without the need to ever walk up to the device and press the fire button. Sometimes it's a LED next to the port, other times the fire button is Red or Green (VS 30), or in the case of my MVP Pro the light is on the top of the device next to the 510.

- My box mod charging station is in my Kitchen while I'm resting in either my man cave or a couch potato in my living room /lol

- I'm easy to get along with and understand that you can't please all of us all the time and usability is inherently a compromise. Either the visual cue is on all the time or you use the "Set" menu option. Whatever makes sense to you folks as long as it's one or the other. It's NOT a setting you need to change frequently so a single trip down Menu Lane is not a big deal. I prefer the default of turn the visual cues on and then either leave them on or the user takes a trip down Menu Lane.

:)
+ 1 for "across the room charge indicator"

The watts would be a big thing, but also..

Form factor - the radius is quite a bit shorter, think shaving the size of a half a subtank off...

I haven't compared the weight but i am guessing its lighter?

Radius little bit cheaper than p3 plus 18650 cap

The p3 does give you more choices with batteries

The radius can drive a sub ohm coil very well should you ever want to try that

Just some thoughts :) both will make you very happy i am sure! I love all my provaris

Hi Ramesses,

I would recommend the Radius if you like the box style. It's a very nice setup considering you get a battery and charger with the device.

It's great for starters. All you need to add is a tank and some fluid and you have a complete kit. :)

Hope that helps a little and welcome to our family!

Either way, congrats on going straight for a real quality, long-term solution!!

I don't have one, but for a new vaper, I might lean towards Radius, just because
a) i think a small box is easier to pocket than a steel tube, but that may just be me
b) i think the menu may be a LITTLE simpler, and more intuitive - the 3-buttons mean you can mostly just click + or - to turn it up or turn it down, if that's all you need to do!
c) it can handle more of the popular new tanks that come with 0.5 ohm coils, in case that turns out to be how you like to vape

But again - either way, you're getting a solid device (and a helpful community of users who can answer questions)!

Aye since you are just starting i would say radius too, don't have to worry about batteries chargers for a bit and you have a lot of flexibility to try different tanks / different ohms / drippers. :)

Is there a vape store anywhere near you where you could handle the ProVari and Radius to get an idea of the feel? If you haven't tried many mods that might make a difference.

I have 5 ProVari in use on any given day, as I like switching flavors without switching tanks. At the end of the day I put the batteries on chargers to charge overnight and put in another set of batteries. Unless it is difficult to remove the battery in a Radius, I don't think switching out the battery at night will be a problem...

Wait until you do it a couple of times.

It's doable, but I'm betting you won't want to.

My Radius showed up a day early! And so far I love it. Fits my hand well, so am hoping less drops, and the bigger fire button is easy to both find and use - so those with hand issues, rejoice! The fire button is even a touch softer than on my P3, or else the bigger size helps out, not sure which. The blue is everything I hoped for, depending on light it looks almost black, so dark blue it really is.

The silicone sleeves would help those with hand issues.

Much more secure than bare naked.

I wish someone would come out with a Sub-Ohm tank with P3 threading :(
