I've always used a little Noalox on the tube threads for both of these...at almost three years old threads are still buttery smooth, even though they've been sitting on the shelf seldom used these days..

Or too often. I am a chain vaper, just like I smoked. I chew through batteries. Never gave it much thought. By hitting your PV more often, the batteries don't get as much rest time as a vaper whom may take less frequent hits on their PV. Hitting a battery in a more rapid sequence will drain it faster than letting it rest for a time between power usage. At least that's my impression of how it goes. I usually figure an 18650 will get me through about 5-6mls of juice. An 18490 will get me through 3-4 mls, and an 18350 or 14500 will give me 2-3mls per charge. Depending on device, and whether regulated or not, these figures have some wiggle room, but in my estimation, that is about what I get from the different cells. I pull my batteries as soon as they start blinking, never run them to full cutoff. And if running a mech, I pull them as soon a vapor diminishes, which is usually about 3.7-3.8 volts resting voltage.
Yes. Guilty, as charged :). This is equivalent to my experience. I didn't chain smoke, though ... Vaping just tastes so much better -- and with 3mg nic, no unpleasant after effects!

Look at them, lined up like little soldiers reay to fight the war on cancer! VERY nice!

My syringes say about 2.8Ml.... not sure where you guys are getting yours. But I do have a question... are you using boost? That may explain the lack of battery life... I run no boost and a Kabuki/Radius combo will run 2 days at 11 watts.

Yep.......Boost level 3 and 9.8 watts on a 1.6 ohm coil, which BTW is reading 1.7/1.8 on the Radius. I'm vaping the poop out of this thing and easily getting two full days of battery life and could likely get more, but I charge it while I sleep after the 2nd day.

Hey @zen ... How often you clean the threads and no-lox ... weekly? monthly? ;)

Dunno there Willy. If you put lox on yer threads, it might smell a wee bit fishy ;)

Thank you, 'Brow. :)

Oh you -- who ............... @Pinggolfer, @rbrylawski, @Bronze, @DPLongo22, @WillyZee, @ENAUD, @jwbnyc, @The Ocelot, @raitizz @AstroTurf, @LittleBird, @Peter_C, @ ...... (and anyone else I may have forgotten)

It's LUBE talk time. ;)

On the Radius, Provape eliminated my job. Nothing to lube here, so not much reason for a lube discussion. I'm still fully employed on the P3 thread though (whew!). Just don't put Noalox on them there P3 threads. It wasn't meant for Stainless Steel. No-Ox is the way to go in P3 land. Yes it is!

Anyone working on a ProVarinati bottom cap for this thing yet?

Out with the old...

In with the New!!!

Provi Naughty bottom cap!
That's a heck of an idea! Lots of real estate to work with on the Radius for a cool design. Could likely be sold for like $25. I'd buy one.

Hehe - what IS a 'hairshirt'? And why would that be a punishment?

I had to look it up myself:

hair shirt

noun
Definition of HAIR SHIRT
1: a shirt made of rough animal hair worn next to the skin as a penance
2: one that irritates like a hair shirt

Just an FYI for any new Kabuki owners. My daily work atty for the past year has been a full size nautilus (gone through three during that time) I have always had to tighten the coils to the point of almost over tightening them in order to stop any leaking. So I did the same thing to my new Kabuki and guess what? She leaked out of the 510. I was so bummed. Took her apart cleaned her up and just snugged the same 'leaky' coil. Fired her up, on three days now with no leaks. Beautiful tank. The machining is top notch when just snug works like champ.
