It's made so one can replace the battery, but has a USB port (expected to be above average quality) and it made in a way to encourage use of the USB port. Whatever 18650 batteries ProVape is selling will work well with the Radius, flat top or button top. And, it can be used like a pass through.

If I recall correctly, I believe that 0 in 18650, 18350 etc. is for Round. :) 18 -- radius of battery, 65 length, 0 for shape, in mm.

Do those kind of batteries come in anything but round? (Not being snarky)

I hope everyone is enjoying their Radius. I had hoped to own one but it doesnt seem like its in the cards. At least not in the foreseeable future.

Last week, my wife who is bi-polar, decided to leave both her son and I while we were at work.Hes not my biological son but I love him as if her were.Still thats one hell of a responsibility to leave to someone.

She took all of her stuff and left each of us a note.

We've been scrambling like mad, trying to find a place to stay and have finally managed to secure an apartment together but money is going to be tight for the next few months, since were living off of student loans.

I put an otterbox on my ipad mini and it is now no longer the slim, lightweight device that is the whole point of having one. However, not sure I wanted to leave a $200+ device nekkid as I am a klutz and live a harder lifestyle out in rural environment unlike someone who lives more urban lifestyle. Always a toss up. Not like you can *easily* remove an otterbox cover either. :confused: So it remains more like a heavy anchor now than a lightweight device. :(

Boy that UAG cover on you galaxy looks fantastic!!!!
I do love UAG! It's the smoke black. They make them for the iPhones of course too :)

I would say -- yes. I believe most battery gadgets use some sort of square, perhaps wafer shaped, battery that is of li-ion or newer chemistry hybrid. I know my cel phone and camera do. Of course, these types are often "proprietary" size and branding.

I don't know what the size designation is for a typical 9volt "rectangle" battery is, but I can believe there is one. I have no clue if that size comes in the "hybrid" chemistry.

I believe that most of the "hybrid" and IMR batteries are round, 18650, and made specifically for other industries besides Vaping. We have been utilizing their power and efficiency since the first home made mods, with some guidance from the flashlight guru's.

Wow, Zapped I'm so sorry to hear that. Hang in there... life isn't a snapshot... things continually evolve as time marches on. It's only in facing challenges that we can learn our own strength.

Having just lost an important person, albeit in the FINAL sense of the word lost, I can tell you that you can't give up.
The best remedy I've found, is to keep your nose to the grindstone. Just do what you need to do to get your feet back under you, and keep working away at your normal daily routine.
You're in my thoughts buddy.
Good luck, and Godspeed.

zapped, that's rough around the edges, hon. I sincerely hope this works out to everyone's best interest, and as soon as possible. You will be fine.

The 18650, as an example of battery measurements and the meaning of the numbers, indicates:

18
= Diameter in millimeters

65 = Length in millimeters

0 = Cylindrical

I am helping a friend. So I don't have to read thru 534 pages here, can somebody give me the WEIGHT of the radius (w/out atomizer, etc.)? Looked at specs on Provape site and do not see that.

TY.

Also what is battery life compared to 18490 batt in a 2.5 provari titanium? Bells and whistles always do make a battery run down faster. Not *sure* if radius will be overkill for this person.

TY again. :)

Zapped, I'm so sorry to see this. I will say whether your son is biological or not, he's one lucky kid to have you. Stay strong and if you need anything, you've got friends here at ECF. Yes you do!
