Was out on business and came back to my Radius :) So far it's performing fantastic. Delivers more of a punch at the same wattage as my dna 40 device. My only complaint is the large dust speck under the screen plastic. My OCD is going nuts over that.

Blow it out with compressed air.

You can get it in cans.

Used by photographers, etc., so shouldn't hurt anything.

They also make those little brushes with an attached bellows if compressed air is too aggressive for you.

I am considering using a jwrap for scratch protection. How does yours fit? The reason I asked is that I put one on my REO. There were a couple of gaps. I put some super-duper clear nail polish on the gaps; it was nearly perfect. I don't think that would work on the "flat" finish of the Provari.
Mine fits great no gaps, covered the top and bottom caps perfectly also. The only spot it doesn't cover is directly around the buttons, and I probably could have song a better job putting it on around the bump where the screen is.

Ping,
I was poking fun at guys and their thumbs more than anything. It's not a real issue for me.

I like the Radius power down better than using the P3 menu. I know the mini menu so well the clicks are automatic so I prefer it over the P3 too. My P3 is a Ti so it's light and has it's place in my rotation. Overall, I'm happy with all 3 for different reasons.

Trouble is...

It's inaccessible.

You don't have to get at it.

You just have to get some air in there through the bottom.

You might not even have to remove the battery.

Shoot some air through the ventilation hole and see if that works.

Good morning all!

At madangus' suggestion (along with anyone else who suggested Sweet Vapes), I clicked the link, and was greeted by the following:

bd4f4a5642145dd05d89a726e322d7c8.jpg

Now, if that isn't the best thing a vape store could do, I don't know what is.
I wish every vape website would take 12 hours off, and do this same thing.
It doesn't have to be all day. 9a-9p would be enough, if enough websites did it!
These are scary times. I've been trying to build up my hoard of rebuildable materials, and I'm gonna start stocking up on juices.
I might even take a crack at making my own, because the Vape-ocalypse won't really affect the raw materials. Especially since I'll have been nic-free for two years, this coming April!
I'm celebrating my 5 year vapo-versary this month as well, and I'm gonna treat myself to something special...just haven't decided what yet. Maybe I'll talk myself into spending the "self-gift" money on more hoard supplies instead...but I doubt it.
The ByLeo Calix (with P3 base & side airflow) is bound to be out soon...

DIY e-juice | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

This is a rather simple calculator for juice if you care to take a look. I have used it for months.

These are scary times, the "ex post facto" deeming regs are but a small example of an intrusive federal government.

I thought I'd go ahead and order some more BVC coils from them this morning. Their website is down for the day to encourage people to write the White House to voice concerns over the pending FDA regulations. Impressive they'd do that actually.

I love Sweet-Vapes, I buy a lot from them and this is great! I am with the "I wish every vape website would take 12 hours off, and do this same thing. It doesn't have to be all day. 9a-9p would be enough, if enough websites did it!" It's really too bad online vape retailers did not organize, pick a day to do this together to make those who buy online but do not go to forums or groups aware this is happening. I have always felt retailers needed to take a more significant proactive role in this fight especially in awareness to the average vaper.

Congrats on your upcoming 5 year vapeaversary @HBcorpse that is fantastic!!!

The regulated fear the regulators - with good reason. Because the retailers and manufacturers fear retribution the responsibility to act rests upon the electorate - us. This is the value of of the various vaping organizations (thanks Robino1). The government will never fear a small group of retailers who it may smack down; it might fear a vocal minority of voters. The triumph of small vocal minorities is not without precedent.

I'm not reading 540 pages of posts, so sorry if this has been said already, but...why didn't they just enable 40 watts on the P3? The P3 is a single battery mod as well. This new thing does nothing that the P3 doesn't. Its like a P3 in a box with 40 watts enabled. They could have just given people a firmware upgrade for the P3 to enable 40 watts and charged them 20 bucks or something for it. I duno. This mod seems really pointless.

The thing of it is retailers (an estimated 8500-10000 B&Ms, more including strictly online retailers in the US) serve a large percentage of vapers that are unaware of what is happening. These retailers could (with very little effort) inform their customers and make them aware so they could join in the fight. I believe the majority of vapers in the US are unaware.

That it "seems" pointless does not make it pointless to me. I like the Radius form better than the P3.

Simple. Because Radius can ONLY be operated on a 18650 Battery, but the P3 can use 18350/18490 and 18650 batteries. They limited for the safety of the user who wouldn't understand the difference.

And you may find the Radius pointless, but it's quickly become the mod I use all day as opposed to my P3. I suspect that is the case for many other Radius users who also have a P3.

I'm not so sure that it's as simple as a firmware upgrade, as the P3 tops out at 20W. The radius has a completely different chip. If it was a matter of firmware, wouldn't it be just as simple to convert a DNA20 chip into a DNA40?

I didn't realize the Radius is a different chip; I thought my perception of a different and better vape was the "halo" effect.:w00t:

Because 40 watts would not be safe with all battery sizes that the P3 can use.
