Since my Radius had to go to the Provape Spa, this is a very nice system to have till I get her back!

Having been completely obsessed with my Russian 91% tank, my other tanks, excluding the Mirandus RDA that I use for my drip needs, have been relegated to backup status. Yesterday, I was running late to work and realized that I forgot to refill the R91 the previous night. Not wanting to be late (those of you who are familiar with Kayfuns and Russians know that they are a bit more complicated to fill than most other tanks), I grabbed my Nautilus, quickly filled it with Churrios and went off to work.

Not having used the Nautilus in a couple of weeks, I realized how spoiled I've become by the incredible flavor generated by the R91. I had a fresh coil in the Nautilus, yet the flavor still tasted like crap, compared to what I've become accustomed to. I couldn't wait to get home and refill my beloved R91.

This is all leading up to one question - how does the flavor production of the Kabuki compare to Kayfun/Russian? I enjoy the experience of building coils, but I'd love to have a good backup tank for when I need to quickly fill it on the go. If the Kabuki gets anywhere within that range, I'll pick one up next week.

I'll answer the question by saying my Russian 91% V2 and my Kayfuns are home and I'm at work happily vaping on my Kabuki. For me, the flavor is fantastic, the vapor production is fantastic. I've gotten into a much airier draw and the air control system on the Kabuki is miles better than the Kayfun or Russian too.

I am definitely sold on it. One last question - other than eliminating the beauty ring, is there a benefit of the P3 connection over the 510? I have a coupon for Mt. Baker Vapor, but they only carry the 510 version. I wouldn't mind saving a few bucks.

I had a PM conversation with Zen about that. He said there is a major advantage to the P3 connector, beyond it just being stronger. I don't think Zen would mind if I posted exactly what he said to me:

"There actually is an advantage to the P3 connection.... greater conductivity DOES equal better run-time on the device, because loss in the connection wastes power. Also, the P3 connection also creates a condensate area that can be separated and cleaned out more easily.

The vapor production is equal in both the 510 and the P3, So it performs equally from that point of view. The other factors are the benefit."

Based on that, I now own two P3 Kabuki tanks. And a 3rd will be added when funds permit. The design of the Kabuki, especially in P3 form is rather remarkable. The coil is the pin. When you take the coil out for replacement, you can so easily clean the bottom piece as it's open all the way through. Genius, really!

Looks like I'll be picking one up in short order. I'll shoot a message to Mt. Baker to check if they plan on getting any of them with the P3 connection.

What tanks is everyone running atop the radius? I have a p3 kabuki (which I'm loving) and just ordered a kraken v2 which I'm excited to try out

I use my Lemo Drop mostly. Occasionaly, a Crown or Aromamizer.

I have considered a Kabuki as a back-up (I like rebuilding), but I'm curious if it takes coils other than the standard Aspire BVCs...I prefer my resistance to be around 1.0 Ohms.

IMHO I like my Russian. It is a great vape but a pain to fill, bottom or top, compared to the Kabuki. If your build is good, I've got to give it a slight flavor and vapor advantage. But my my Russian sits in its box. The Kabuki is that good. My absolute favorite is the Kayfun 4 / P3 connector. It has outstanding performance and fills really fast and easy. I fill it without even removing it from the PV. The build has to be up to snuff tho. Bad news, its twice the price of a Kabuki, not to mention taller and heavier. But it is my RTA of choice.

I'm pretty sure the only place you can get a Kabuki P3 is Provape or Provape dealers. I got mine directly from the ProVape website. Its great!

I don't think you'll be disappointed. No, not at all. I used to be a pre-built coil guy. People here on the forum had to take me screaming and shouting out of my comfort zone to start building coils and go the KFL+/Russian route. I was proud. Yes I was. I posted pics of coils I built as my skills improved and I even think I uttered that I'd NEVER buy no stinking system that used pre-builts ever again. No sir, I would not.

So here I am vaping on my Kabuki's and absolutely loving the simplicity of plug and vape vaping, with flavor that rivals my KFL's and it produces more vapor. A winning combination all the way around.

Yeah i'm interested in the Kraken V2, seems to be a Kabuki for the subtank coils, vicious ant top notch machining, slightly smaller than the subtank and far better looking, should be good!
