Yes, I am going into production soon for a P3 to 510 adapter... this will put a P3 ATTY or tank on a 510 device. It will add 3/16" in height. To a P3 "topper" (man, I hate that term... "topper")

I, for one, started using the word "topper" for lack of a better term to encompass all atomizer devices. It is cringeworthy, but I got tired of typing Baditude's favorite: juice delivery system. ;)

Hey John. Zen mentioned that he's working on such an adapter (unless I misunderstood).

I remember him saying people asked for it, not that it's going into production.

Good to know - thanks Zen. After that's out, no reason for modders or designers to not make a P3 version. We really need more than ProVape using a P3 connection on their mods. Hopefully ProVape are proactively going after modders.

That's why I used the term "atty" - it's all-encompassing. Every tank, genny, dripper, is an atomizer. Well, technically a vaporizer... The particles are not THAT small.

I'm kinda bummed because I've grown quite attached to the Topper Mod reference, if even only for the differentiation factor. And with the coming avalanche of Side By Side mods, said differentiation has (or will soon have) value.

Unless someone comes up with an acceptable replacement, I'm going to end up with nothing to keep Zen from getting so upset that he spits out Russian words at me.

Someone, please, I need a term! Stat.

(Did I really say, "Stat"???)

I agree that "atomizer" (actually vaporizer) is the correct term, but this was back in 2012. The new vapors then aren't the same as the ones now. People came to the forum not knowing anything about electronic cigarettes and the goal was to explain different components that could be used; Attys, cartos, clearos - there needed to be a term that was inclusive, but not specific, if that makes sense. There is much more information available now, online and in vape shops, so new members are more sophisticated.

Is a "Topper Mod" like a tube mod?

It's actually any where the delivery system sits on top, versus the proliferation of options where it's either contained inside (Billet, NEBOX, etc. ) or on the side (Zen Sidewinder, MicroStick, etc.).

But, to answer directly, yes. A tube mod would be in that group.

Hi all. I leave ECF and my Provari threads for 5-6 weeks to have back surgery and I come back to find out that Provape has released a BOX MOD??? And I read and read and find that it is indeed true and it is beautiful.

And Christmas is getting near.... I will read back and get all your first impressions of how you all like the Radius. This is exciting news. I will have to start a Radius fund to save up for one.

I am still loving my Provari 2.5s and P3 but a Radius would be a great addition. Does a Russian 91% fit without any overhang? I hate how that looks on my old MVP2.

Speaking of which - what is "Prothingy" actually referring to?

For awhile I used "Prothingy" instead of "ProVari," to dampen flames. When asked what device you use, if you causally answer with something like, "Ya know, a Prothingy :)" you don't get attacked. This was before the ProVarinati had really taken hold, so when in the open forum you were often literally on your own. There was also speculation at the time that trolls were using ProVari as a search term to look for threads. Some people still use the word, but not as much as they used to.
