I don't have a Radius but I do pocket the Mini 2.5. I imagine the 3.0 will ride in a pocket just as well and might be better. I understand the P3 connector is much stronger that I see is a plus for pocket carry. Hopefully someone who pocket carries are Radius will jump in. My self If I had a Radius I picture it being a desk unit and would still likely pocket a 2.5 Mini, take this with a grain of salt since I don't have a Radius.

Get both, get a Radius and a Provari P3. This way you can have both loaded up at home for variety and a smaller unit to drop in your pocket.

I had originally thought the same, desk hardware. I loved the heft of it and the extended battery life so much though I simply girded my Radius in armor (silicone), slapped a Tankabuki on the top, and use it in some of the most extreme environments in California. Has held up like a champ.

I could never use one of those stainless steel tanks. I would hate having to open it up and check. I never notice any vapor production difference from half fill to the very bottom so I would end up dry hitting or just checking it way too often.

I'm thinkin that if one replaces battery and fills at the same time, the timing might work out about perfect, so a hardy and or decorated steel Kabuki tank could work out great.

I'm testing with one of my well used 18490's today. Of course, YMMV and it might be just perfect for an 18350?

Huh! Not even sure I want to edit it now. Rather keep it as a reminder..."Be mindful of the Post Reply button my young Provarion Learner, proof read you must!"

You can click on "more options," then on the next page click on "preview" and it will show you how it's going to look. I always do that out of habit when I post image files.

I found the battery usage of an 18350 to be about the same as a tank full of juice.

Sooooo.....My Radius should in here tomorrow? Two questions...

1: What's the best battery to drop into it? Should I just stick with the Samsung that is provided? Is there a better battery to go with?
2: Possible to use the AW 18650 with the nipple at the top? Or will just the flat top 18650 fit?

From what I understand, the Radius only takes flat top batteries. The Samsung that's included is a good battery, but I replaced it with a LG HG2, because of its higher capacity (3000mAh, as opposed to the included battery's 2500mAh).

There's nothing wrong with the Samsung supplied inside your Radius. You should only use flat tops. And I did end up getting two AW 18650 3000 mAh batteries, which I'm now using. They last a bit longer than the Samsung.
