Unfortunately, the story from January was out of Colorado. The new one is from FL. Rolygate made this post today - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-niceville-e-cig-exploding-5.html#post5317556.
The story's been run on yahoo news, and a few other major news outlets. Man Suffers Severe Injuries After E-Cigarette Explodes in His Mouth - Yahoo! News

Just wanted to clarify. This story makes me sad and my heart goes out to the man this happened to.

MY BAD

Thank You for correcting my mistake and updating the links, especially since this is so important to know :D

Wow, Uncle! What a find! Thanks for sharing. What about that guy, Elendil, with the big red toolbox? What do people do with so much stuff? How can one person vape it all before it gets too old? I like your Stack-On suggestion. Next time I'm at Walmart, I'll have to give them a look. Meanwhile, that big round tin I have is working very well, and I had it here, just sitting and waiting for a job. Now that tin has a job, and that's keeping me from losing another bottle of e-liquid. I can't believe my bottle of cinnamon disappeared! I've waited so long for a good, spicy cinnamon, too. I'm just hoping the bottle shows up before I've vaped the carto dry, since right now, all I have is one measly cinnamon carto.

There is even a couple of photos in the first thread that shows the "Stack_on" with labels too . . . ;)

Just what "YOU" needed to know - RIGHT

When I started out, I had a carton of cigarettes and my brand new ecig. Smoking 75%, Vaping 25%. While learning the ropes of how much to order and when, I would run out so a few more packs got used up. About a month into I was vaping exclusively, and had 2 packs of smokes left. I kept one in the butter holder in the fridge, and the other was in my purse - just in case. Then it was left on the kitchen counter - that was a big day for me, to leave the house without any smokes! During the course of the year I would occasionally get a craving or just be curious and have a smoke (tasted gross by then). Now I have 14 cigarettes in that pack and still the one in the fridge. Needless to say the pack is a tad stale now LOL. But it is a mental game I play - I know they are there in case of an "emergency".

Yes, that's my game, to have them in case. I actually leave the house for hours without my analogs and just an e-cig. Sometimes I do feel the need to take my analogs with me, and sometimes I smoke them while I'm out, and sometimes I don't. I think if I didn't have them, then I'd get desperate and have to run out and buy them somewhere. It's more efficient to have them and not smoke them if I can do without.

I play the same mind games. LOL I have my cig case in the drawer with all my juices and can see it every single day. Inside of it is an empty Marlboro lights pack. Just to open and smell it is all I need to know I don't want a cig. But outside where I use to sit and smoke.... i refuse to move the ashtray. My husband has asked me several times if I was ever gonna throw it away. I think he is grossed out by it too. It still has cig butts in it and it has rained, dried and rained again. you walk by there and it stinks to high heaven. but not yet...... I am not ready to remove it. Maybe tomorrow. LOL Its all about mind control.

I think I might be one of those people who needs the "WTA" . . . :D
(Ya' THINK   )

AND - Although I know everyones impressions about "Nic-Juice" and other additives will be different -Please keep updating "Us" with your progress . . . :)

Thanks . . . :D

I'll keep everyone informed. Uncle, all I can say is to try it. See if you can get it plain and mix it with a flavor you already know is one you like. I think that would have made it easier for me, if I could have vaped a flavor that didn't start to taste and smell awful after a whole day of it. My only question about that strategy is, if you buy it unflavored and mix it, will it be so diluted that it's ineffective? I wish I knew the answer to that question.

Yeah Psoriasis sucks! lol about 6 ears ago I had one little spot that came up on m arm that looked like a ring worm. But nothing I did would get rid of it. Was at the dr for something else and mentioned it. He was quick to tell me what it was. gave me some ointment and it seems like it spread from there. I only have it on my elbow area, but only after I got it under control. I now take Humira injection every 2 weeks and tan in a tanning bed under the direction of my dermatologist. 8 mins a week. The UV light and the sun are actually the best thing for it. I very rarely have flare ups in the summer. I spend most weekends at the pool with my son. I have tried everything as far as medicines. Ointments don't work at all. Humira comes the closest to making it clear up completely.

"Stacy" - Yes - Sun and Ocean for "Me" helps too . . . :)

Nothing else yet, only temporary relief from Ointments . . . ;)

Thanks for the info. She wants me to try this ointment for 2 weeks and if it isn't helping at all then come back and see her. I'll mention the Humira to her and see what she says. About 20+ years ago I had the same as yours, the ring on my knees and elbows, itched like crazy, but once that went away it never came back. Just had this one quarter sized red blotch near my ankle that never got any worse or better, so I just lived with it. But this new thing is nuts, it looks like I have chicken pox or something. ick.

"Starsong" - May I ask what ointment you are using ? ? ? Also if it works for You - Thanks :)

SO far I have tried 2 - Fluocinonide & Trimcinolone, which provided temorary relief . . .

I am Now using a new one I got this week - Biafine . . .

I didn't take offense. I'm willing to admit that I'm stubborn, and I like smoking cigarettes. I'm fighting myself, and I don't know how to get away from that, so I'm trying stuff to see where there might be some sort of breakthrough. At least I'm not giving up. I'm still here and still vaping.

I agree with your statement that everyone has to find their own way. That's what I'm doing. It's sort of like a rat in a maze. I run down one alley, and if I hit a wall, I retreat and try another path. One of them will be the right one. I just have to keep experimenting till I find it.

Well as you may remember that is one of "MY" Problems - I Haven't Found That Flavor YET . . . ;)

Still trying though and I am real close - a "Cinamon w/ Menthol" by a "Nic-Juice" Vendor and another by another ECF "Friend" who DIY Both have been a little help . . . :D

Next step is possibly the "WTA" - have to wait . . . :(

(HEY - I had to buy some stuff with the SI Sale - YA' Know What I Mean . . .  )

So what did you get? The soft drip tips? I really like them. I think they make more vapor somehow or make it easier to draw or something. It's certainly a different (better) experience with them on the tip of the carto.

I got blank cartos, all the chrome, and I like them, but one thing I do notice is that it's a lot harder to slide the condoms off the ends. I can't quite figure out why this is, since you'd think the chrome surface would be more slippery than the black cartos.

Why bad? If you think you'll use the stuff it's good. And even if you don't, you have to experiment to find out what you like. I think others can't tell you what flavors you'll like and which ones you won't. You have to try them and see for yourself. It seems that's what people, me included, want to do: find out what others like, hoping they, too, will prefer the popular flavors. I found out that didn't work for me, that I like flavors others don't and vice versa.

In fact, we should trade more, if someone has a bottle of a flavor they don't like and they want to try one that someone else has.

Another thing I discovered today is that switching around with flavors is better than vaping one flavor all day. That Turkish tobacco with WTA started out tasting OK this morning, but by evening, it was pretty awful. Now the peach tastes great, it's a perfect counterpoint, but it might get cloying if I vaped it all day. I guess I just really like variety.
