These tests were done with 2 volt "sealed" auto shorties with a volt carto at 3.4ohms. Hope no one minds I don't do videos, trying to save as many cameras as possible from my ugly mug.

How do these batts work? Instead of having a hole in the center of the post they have two smaller holes on the side. This doesn't make them unkillable by any means, but makes them much harder to kill. A slight overfill has no affect on them, but a major one could very easily still get juice into the batt itself.

Voltage output on battery 1 was 3.57v on load, and on the second was 3.61v on load. Both right in the range of fault tolerance, and they maintained this voltage until just before the end of life, last puff recorded as 3.23 on batt 1, and 3.21 on batt 2. Average run time of the batts were 175 minutes on batt 1, and 170 on batt two with chain vaping. This is higher than most gen 2 batts I've tried, but will note this is the highest ohm horizontal coil carto I've seen to date, and that does factor in. Each carto from the pack of blanks ranged between 3.3-3.5ohms, which was why I went with 3.4. Now for the big detail...

Draw- In comparison to an unsealed auto with 4 side intake holes the draw is much tighter. Some will prefer this. This one only has two holes around the collar, but even in comparison with an unsealed auto batt with only 2 holes it's still tighter. It's much more like a manual battery. What you give up in draw you gain in protection of the batt though.

All in all, not a bad addition to the volt line up. Think some will still prefer the draw on the unsealed batts in comparison, but for those using the condom method to refill these batteries are a must.

Already posted my reply in the KR808 thread, but will post it here as well:
I'm still vaping the stash of Volt cartomizers I bought several weeks ago, so I don't know if things have recently changed, but none of mine come in past the 3ohm range, all are still at the average of 2.5ohms.

But if newer Volt cartomizers are coming in higher than 3ohms, right there is reason enough for a stiff draw, and it would happen on all Volt batteries. Past 3ohms, you won't get enough amps from Volt batteries, or any 3.6V batteries, to provide a good vape, it will seem stiff because the eliquid isn't sufficently vaporized, not as warm or flavorful either.

I do not understand comparing the vape from autos with 4 side intake holes as I've never seen a Volt battery with 4 holes. All of my Volt batteries only ever have had 2 intake air holes. So whose batteries are you comparing to with 4 holes?

I ordered the new Volt battery as soon as I saw them on the website and hopefully will get it today, hoped it would get here yesterday but no joy. When it gets here, I'll be vaping it on my stash of Volt cartomizers, that I know are on the average of 2.5 ohms. If mine vapes fine, looks like I need to order a new pack of cartomizers to see if all of a sudden SI is getting higher-ohmed cartomizers. Will report back then.

Question and suggestion-

Question is - Do you plan to offer the new batts with starter kits any time in the near future? Now that I've settled on the hardware I want to use, I want to get some more batts and chargers and I might as well order another starter kit, as it has (almost) everything on my list.

Suggestion is - On the site where you're offering the new battery, you don't mention what size it is, (width is there but not the length), or what color the LED the one that is available now has. If I was just surfing and found the site, I wouldn't order that battery, not being sure what it was.

That is how I found your site, by the way - I found it and had my Volt before I found ecf. Talk about luck!! :)

For what its worth, I'm using my new Sealed Auto on both old-order (Blanks and RY4's) and new-order (Blanks, Menthol and Watermelon), plus pre-filled and self-filled Cartos, and I'm experiencing no difference what so ever between the Cartos or the two Battery styles - that I can see at least.

The only difference I have seen at all came in a newly-filled Carto of PinkSpot's G-Spot (A heavy, heavy, heavy grape flavor that literately looks like Black Ink). Its a bit think, and I think I flooded the Carto. I switched back and forth between all three styles with the Hole-less Auto having the worst performance until the Juice had set in the Carto for a while. When I came back a couple hours later though, no problem at all and it was a even, consistent hit on both the Sealed and Old-style Autos!

Side note: That G-Spot was also its first "oops, my Carto is leaking" test too, hehehe. It Wasn't running at all, I had hit it a couple times on a Manual with no issue and thought it was good to go on my new Auto but apparently it was a delayed drip tease and my new Battery was the intended victim. Have to say, IT WORKS! No issue at all. Took a toothpick (I have learned to always keep one my pocket) and ran it along the inside of the connector to ensure there was no moisture that dripped down there to eventually gunk up and it seems absolutely fine. Big bubble of Juice on the connection tip is no longer a worry; yay!

Got my order! Been using the new sealed auto for over an hour now with the new RY4 cartos and I'm in heaven *sigh* I've tried RY4 from four different sources now and I can't believe the difference in flavor. None of them have come close to SI's RY4. They are either too sweet or just weak. Looks like I'm just gonna have to pony up for the big bottle :)

Ms. Steeljan here's my same response from the kr808 forum:

Higher Ohms don't equal stiffer draw Ms. Steeljan, less airflow does. Gen 1 kr808 batts (which are what I use 90% of the time, hence the comparison) have anywhere between 3 and 4 holes depending on the batt. The draw is much looser on those in comparison to gen 2's with 2 holes. As you see though made a direct comparison to a 2 holed kr808 gen 2 batt right afterwards, that way I'm comparing a one armed ginuea pig to another one armed ginuea pig instead of to a 7 tailed gerbil. Still viable info though.

If you take a v4l batt with a cool cart (3.3ohm avg) and a wow carto (2.3ohm avg) and compare the draw on the same batt with both the draw doesn't change. What does change is th and vapor production when using the same juice on both. What affects the draw in the sealed autos from volt is you replace a larger diameter hole in the center of the post that goes straight down the battery with two small holes on the side of the post at a 90 degree angle forcing the air to change direction and restricting the airflow.

As I said earlier though, some prefer a stiffer draw so this won't affect them much, and to those using the condom method or with a tendancy to overfill think they'll gladly exchange a stiffer draw for an auto that is harder to kill. It's no knock on the battery or the new design, just an observation from someone who has tried a lot of different style batts in every type of connection. :)

So I been here for the last hour switching between the new auto sealed battery & the unsealed version which is less than 2 weeks old btw. I can't tell any diff on hit or draw. As far as screwing them into the Cartos them seem a very very very tiny bit bigger, no issue just maybe make sure you pay more attention screwing them as not to damage the threads. I'm partaking of the liquid classic grape I just got in the mail today. It's nice but I think it needs to steep a few days. I have RY4 to get me through it has been in my bedside drawer for the past week.

I will say this I ordered these with the green LEDs & 1 with the purple. From now on I think all I will ever purchase is green LEDs. The are freakin awesomely bright. It's like kryptonite bright. So much so the purple looks old & dim in comparison.

Imagine any to get green LEDs in any of the wild color batts lol.

Also thanks imagine & SI for the great service & product you represent plus for the batts.

I'm sure I'll be posting more later tonight. I just got off work, so it's time to shower the start drinking all tge Sailor Jerry RUM my body can handle. :)

um, cindy? The placement of that bunny tail is a little, um, um, how do I say this... odd? Being under the other tail and all...
shhhhhh, it's just a costume...
the real tail is a lot to hide!
...where? between my legs? :)

FYI, that's Felix the Cat's bag of tricks down there, in case I don't get my treats!

If it say USP, it should be fine. However, a gallon? Unless you're gonna DIY, what would you do with it?
Yeah, but did you see the PRICE for the gallon? And it's local/no shipping.

OK, Miss Vaping in the Brain, vaping isn't the ONLY thing PG is good for. Let's see...aromatherapy, natural bug spray, soap, scented candles...but yeah, it's one of the things I'm playing with for cleaning cartos. Not sure yet though. Still playing.

Due to the mostly very positive responses on the sealed autos we have decided to put the regular autos on sale to make way for more sealed autos :)

9.95 is a awesome price for your great batteries. Perfect time for some folks debating on getting a small order needing a few more supplies, batteries & juice folks.
