The older ya get, the harder you are to scare. I've survived some crazy things in my lifetime including being clawed by a bear, treed by a moose, canoeing with alligators (and one of the canoes was rammed and sunk), a tornado in a tent, and being robbed at gunpoint. Movie willies just aren't that hard to handle anymore.

But - big spiders can make me scream like a little girl and dance exotic dances.

rave! wow You must be part cat. (I'm rethinking that visit...it sounds like dangerous territory!)

Gosh, I think I was only mia for a day and a half and it's taken me a long time to catch up to you guys.

I'm too wimpy for blood, gore and violence. Even Silence of the Lambs was too much for me. I did like 6th sense. One that hasn't been mentioned is The Others. Slow but loved how it turned out. I remember The Bad Seed from 1956 scared the beejeesus out of me as a kid. Won't watch it again. lol

I have a question, though. There was a movie I saw as a kid that I thought was pretty scary and I can't remember the name. No one I've mentioned it to knows what I'm talking about. I only remember a few of the particulars:

The little boy in it reminds me of Timmy from Lassie. A space ship has landed (unbeknownst to anyone) and is buried under sand. People go missing. Apparently if someone steps in the sand over their porthole, they fall into the space ship for experimentation purposes. Does anyone else remember this? From the 1950s I think. I have been trying for years to recall - would like to see again to determine if it's really scary or if I've just always been wimpy. lol

I thought I'd seen all of the old horror flicks, but this one doesn't sound familiar at all. :(

Ok, I just thought of the scariest thing I ever read - anyone here ever read Joe Haldeman? He wrote 'the Forever War' and a few other well known sci fi titles, but there's a short story called 'Seasons' in his collection titled 'Dealing in Futures' that is the most intense fictional story I've ever read, bar none. I've always thought it would make the most frightening movie!

I am clearly not motivated to work today.

I sure do! But unfortunately, I can't remember the title, either. :( I watched it during a slumber party when I was a kid. Everybody was asleep, and it was very late. I think that's what made this movie extra creepy for me.

OH - I just remembered another one that reallllly creeps me out, but makes me laugh at the same time: Arachnophobia!

I remember that movie! :) I remember the preview, too, with all of those spiders rushing out of the sink drain. Shuddering, just thinking about it, lol. As scary as it was, there was quite a bit of humor . . . thanks to John Goodman's character, I think.

ugh, I'm soooo sorry to hear that - i get just a few a year if I forget and eat chocolate - it's so horrible. On the bright side (there is one) you can look forward to the ecstasy and euphoria of finally not having it anymore! Wishing it gone for you!

Begone, Adrena's Migraine!!!!
Honestly I had them so often before I started vaping had every test you can think of.( thought It was the end of me)
But now they don't hurt as bad( no death wishing blows), an no where near as often. So much an improvement my doc is looking in to it see it there's a connection to vaping and reduction she said it's better blood flow that could be doing it.

Thanks to everyone the nap helped.:D
