I don't vape around my grandchildren. They are small and I'm usually holding them or playing a game with them. If they are visiting our place I go to another room etc. If I am at their house I go outside just as I did when I smoked analogs. My son and his wife have never smoked so wouldn't consider vaping inside. I think the correct thing to do is ask and respect the home owner's answer. When our family is all gathered at my parents, both my father and I vape inside with no complaints. The rest of the family commented at Christmas how nice it was to play cards with us vaping instead of smoking in the same room:)

I think that yeah, Kids would think it looks cool because of the flavours and colours.

They used to have flavoured cigars here (in bc) and they had colourfull packs and all... They banned them now though because of the "apeal to kids"

But really, Thats kind of a dumb concept... "It might appeal to kids because of the colours, So no one can use it."
Especially because the companies are just trying to jazz them up to make them appeal more to ADULTS who smoke analogs.

I dunno it could be argued either way really.

I wouldnt smoke in someones house without asking, and I wouldnt smoke around thre kids if they didnt want me to.

Similar topic...... What do you think about vaping in a resturaunt/pub/store??

Couldnt they kick you out if you refused to stop?

That's another place where I would ask permission before proceeding. Generally, I would just go outside though. But if there are others smoking in the bar or pub, I wouldn't hesitate.

I'm compiling the pics of the actual people using or holding their Volt that were submitted to Smokeless Image for publicity use. Although the official cut-off date was 1-1-12, I could fit yours in if you want. Let me know very quickly though because I'm already working on putting all of the pics together.

any place can ask you to stop or leave.... it is always the establishments right... like "no shirt, no shoes...no service..."

There is no law you have to wear shoes...but the establishment can make their own rules :p

most places that have asked me to stop make the argument...that even though they may know what an ecig is...other customers may not...and they may think they are regular cigarettes and feel that they can just light one up ...since they see me "smoking"

Hey by the way..... did anyone else see last night's episode of 2 Broke Girls? They brought in a new character that was using an ecig.... kind of caught me off guard..but hey the more exposure the better!

I agree we want to ensure that under age people are not purchasing ecigs...but again I get so frustrated when they harp on the tobacco, smokeless tobacco and ecig industries...but don't say anything about the alcohol flavors...you want to talk about variety............

update on restocking:

Everything has been packed and is on its way or waiting to be shipped.

Things are taking a bit to get on the planes...as China is getting ready to close for 2-3weeks....so a lot of people are shipping out a ton of goods.

The liquid has arrived but is still awaiting FDA clearance. We are working very hard to resolve that...

Everything else should be landing over the next few days/week :)

Interesting! You know they do that in movies all the time. For instance, Coke pays them something to show the actors drinking Coke. It's subtle advertising, and I bet it works quite well if you see the same product over an over again. Still, if I didn't know about e-cigs or if I wasn't paying close attention, I'd probably just assume she was smoking an analog. How much do you think the general populace knows about e-cigs? I had never heard of them till one day someone suggested i look into them. Then I Googled them, and here I am. But nonsmokers probably have no curiosity about them, and many smokers may never have heard of them. Even if they did, many people are so set in their ways that they wouldn't be the first of their friends to try something new.

I don't watch shows on TV, so I have no idea how often they are mentioned, though here I've heard of some times when they have been mentioned in the media. What do you all think? Does the common person on the street even know what an e-cig is? I know my brother didn't till I showed him mine.

I know that quite a few people have seen me vapeing and they were like "oh thats one of the e-cigs isnt it?"

They sell very crappy ones at the gas stations that are disposable (in b.c. canada)
So i always have to show them its not a crappy one. (mine is from the states so no one has anything like it here)

I've heard 7-Eleven, a convenience store, sells them here in the U.S., but I never saw them. Then again, how often do I go in a 7-Eleven? Still, I think the general public knows little or nothing about them. More and more people are finding out about them, though, as we can see by all the new people joining this group and buying Volts.

Every little bit of exposure helps. I found out about them while seeing Johnny Depp in The Tourist. (that's how his character was quitting.) Coincidentally, that was about the time I was thinking of quitting, so here I am! :)

I had some people walk by and stop to ask me about them while on campus, and have only gotten one dirty "you're invading my civil rights" look so far. Most of them were nonsmokers who had smoking loved ones - the smokers never approached me, which was good, because they STANK!

Yes. My gurl and i got our kits tonight and i must say the quality is way better than i expected. We had ordered two black batts with red LEDs but received orange instead, no big deal. There was no kit box either, again no big deal and there was a coupon code for my next order which i think is awesome i consider that great customer service, thanx
So now we have fifteen carts on the coffee table and are vaping away. Again i was not expecting a whole lot in the flavor department but i have not come across one i do not like. She is liking RY4 (as am i) Cappuccino, Vanilla, Freedom and i am rockin the menthol's,mint and i kinda like the Grape
Soon ill be on the site stocking up on the flavors we like along with some empty carts( to try some different juices) and batts. You guys should put a Wish List on the site. Anyways thanks for making a very nice product and i will recommend it to anyone interested
