Just glue a small piece of ribbon at one side, or under the carto next to it, and set the battery on top of it. Then you can grab the tag end and lift. I have't looked carefully at the pcc it just sounds like it would work. I have to do that on some of my models.

See? I told you I liked having you here. :) That might be a lot easier than bringing out the heavy equipment to file it down. Thanks for the suggestion.

Just an FYI: For those who wish a Labler that you don;t have to connect to a Computer:

Brother PT1280-RF P-touch Label Label Printer: $15.33

http://www.ptouchdirect.com/ptouch/new_pt1280rf.html

or at buy . com: $24.37

Buy.com - Brother PT-1290 Home & Office "Simply Stylish" Labeler

Or this One . . .

Brother PT-90: $29.99/$14.99

Meritline.com,sonic cleaners

Also for those who might be interested, I noticed a couple of different types of lablers both to attach to your computer or use alone at 3 different Office Depot & Stables Stores on Clerance sales they are having right now. In addition I have seen them at a couple of thirft stores like Goodwill.

Mertline . com site also offers many sales on a number of items that many ECF buy from including a Sonic Cleaner that goes on sale very often for about $19.99 (but is $29.99 right now) Meritline.com,sonic cleaners

Hope this Information Helps . . .

Thanks for the info. I read reviews of several in this price range, trying to decide. With the Brother label makers, the main complaint seems to be that it wastes expensive tape. Is it necessary to use laminated tape? And I couldn't find out if they had white printing on clear tape available. The tape that seems most popular is black print on clear tape. On a black carto, that would be useless.

There are others that probably work better for $100+, but I think buying some sort of pen would be a lot cheaper and simpler to use. Remember the alarm clock?

Yes, they do have non-laminated tape, but not in white on clear (they do have that in laminated).

Good evening, Retriever! I hope you're not coming down with anything! Glad to see you, though!

Hey Wuzznt, didn't know you lived in Fla. I grew up there!!

Good evening all Volties! I have had the sleeping bug lately, so I have been asleep. Don't know if I am trying to fight off a bug or what. Hope everyone is doing well. :)

I bought a labeling system from Amazon for under $20 and it came with a roll of tape. It's white with black writing. I love it and there's no need to hook it up to a computer!

I had thought about the marker idea, too. I have read elsewhere that the oil-based ones are the best to use.

Added: The tape is non-laminated.

It'd be the first Volt battery I could say was shot.

Yup. Beautiful East Central Florida, center of the universe. What part did you grow up in?

Jacksonville. Of course it was smaller and less crazy than it is today. That's the reason I moved to Virginia. I was living in Miami and my job their ended, so I just picked a place off of the map. :)

Awesome idea!!! Luckily I have long fingernails so I can get them out. The cartos are tight too (even with nails).

I charged my PCC up last night. It charged one battery overnight so I didn't actually time that one but today I charged three 65's at work.

They all took right at 2 hours to charge and lasted a good two to three hours vape time (I can vape at my desk). I also charged a 78 and it took right at 3 hours to charge so.........

4 - 65's charged and 1 - 78 charged - PCC still has one bar showing!!! Definitely an improvement on the other ones.

I think it is pretty durable (I keep trying to slide the lid though..LOL)

Pics to come later.

Labeling cartos for me hasn't worked real well with labeler tape because the condoms are really hard to get on and off. Maybe mine is too thick.

Hi everybody!!! :) I hope you're all having a great day!! i haven't had time to read through any posts yet but I just wanted to share an idea with you!!! I think that it would be great if we all (who haven't already!) leave comments on SI for the products that we use and love! The reason I'm bringing this up is because I was just there and was checking out the blank cartos, which I use a lot of and saw that only 8 people have left comments so far!! We know how amazing the cartos are but when new possible customers come to the site and check them out they may not think the product is very good because only 8 people left comments about them! i'm going to do that now! :)

I just reviewed the Power Pack. It is awesome. Now even if my power goes out I can vape! :)

Hi Tina! Good to see you too! I have gotten myself into this weird cycle where I am awake for about 36 hours and then I sleep for about a day. Very strange indeed. I hope you are well. :)

I used to be able to do that, too! Now I take a nap in the morning and one at night! Can't sleep more than three hours at a time or so it seems! Otherwise, I'm doing great! Thank you! :)

I was born in Jville. It wuz nice in the 40s and 50s but turned into a monster. I used to give people directions to get there from here. "Go north till you smell it, then turn east till you step in it.

Thanks, Tina. That sounds like what I want. Did you have problems with the battery warning coming on right away as some of the reviews mentioned? I guess getting rechargeable batteries would be best, which means getting a charger, too. If only it used AA batteries. I have a charger and rechargeable batteries in that size. I'll seriously consider it.
