Hi folks! Been a while since I've been here so I figured I would check in. Too many pages of history for me to read thru though...geesh, like 300 since I was here.

Anyway, how is everyone? I'm still volting! I see some new goodies on the website like that new charging case. Anyone have one?

How are you Imagine???

My gold and copper batts came in today. The copper looks more like dark gold to me, but it compliments the lighter gold nicely. :) While I was at it, I thought I would show off my carrying case. Sorry for the blurry quality. I'm still trying to get used to my phone.

Hi!!! I love your new batts! They're hot! :) Thank you for taking a pic of your carrying case too!! I love mine!! :)

Morning volty peeps hows everyone doing.
So i went an bought a silver marker that is oil based, waterproof, smudge proof and is paint based, and i think im still stuck at page 1. It is specific for certain products ie you can use on plastic, metal etc.
It works so/so, goes on nicely stays put when you carto fill it with cap/condom and doesn'nt come off when you wipe it with a tissue. Sounds good doesn'nt it,... But the trouble starts when your fingers get sweaty from the heat. Then the smudging starts and if you rub it a bit it starts to come off. So it got me thinking about the materials we are dealing with. We know that the carto's we use are not just carto paper/ there is a thin film of some sort of plastic that is the top layer. And when we sweat there is sure to be some sort of oil on our fingertips at one point or another. So now my quest is too look into a texta/pen based ink that wont interact with oils but stays on plastic.... Any thoughts from the artistic types that might have more info on this? Or maybe if i get some clear contact paper which is cheap enough and. Put a thin strip around the writting that might work also. I would buy one of those label makers, but at the moment its just not moneywise enough for me to make that purchase.
He's my everything - we all rant at one time or another for a whole lot of different reasons. We are still human after all ( dont know about imagine i think she is part super human / robot :p) lol and its good to get it all out. Hi, Kblush! :) You're welcome. I'm liking my carrying case, too. It's nice to be able to keep my batts organized. As for my new batts, I'm seriously considering getting some bling tips to give them more pizzazz. ;)

Funny, I'm originally from Maine! What part? I was in the Brunswick area. In VA I was just outside of Richmond in a town called Midlothian, beautiful area. Now I live near Atlanta.

Barb in D.C. ("He'sMyEverything"): The rubberized Black and rubberized Copper sealed automatic batteries are both very handsome and completely "manly" -- and they are both currently available in 78mm. As Uncle mentioned, the Green is also a beautiful dark "manly" green, and also available in 78mm.

You should have enough points now to make that extra purchase worthwhile. (One can never have too many batteries!) :)

I'm glad to hear you like the carrying case, since I'm planning to order one next time I place an order. I, too, want to keep my batteries organized, with cartos on them so I can just select one and vape.

Would you be interested in letting me try Freedom? I'm curious. It's the only SI flavor I haven't sampled yet. I don't want a whole 5-pack of cartos, nor do I want to get the sampler it's in, since I already have all the other flavors. Is it liquid or prefilled cartos? If it's cartos, could I have just one? I'd pay whatever it costs you to ship it. If you're willing to share, PM me. I just ordered some liquid from another company, and it's steeping as we speak. Maybe I could return the favor and send you a carto of one of the flavors. Let me know if you're interested.

SandySu - I know taste is totally subjective; but Freedom is my personal favorite - I'm practically on an IV drip of the stuff ;-)

I like to try lots of diff juices, and i see all the time people have a huge lot of them for cheap, but usually its gone or US only.

Well, if I don't like it, then I may share with you. I may forget just who wanted it, but I'll remember to post a review of what I thought of it, and if it's negative, just remind me. Maybe I can trade what's left for something else that you have and that I never tried before.

Maybe it's that oil on oil action that's "melting" the paint? Ick. DM would know more about this, but from what I can tell from peeling these things off, I think the "paper" is a layer of white adhesive vinyl, black ink, and a clear overlaminate - can't tell though if this overlam is an adhesive film or if it's printed over - either way, it would behave like vinyl. I wouldn't use Contact paper - too thick, even the clear is cloudy, and adhesive is not so great. If you're looking for something temporary, how about scotch tape? Or maybe you could go on eBay or a sign supply place in Australia and find some clear adhesive vinyl (usually sold by the foot) to put over it. Then any old plasic-friendly pen would work...or you could wait for the white pen-friendly skins to come out from SI...but I hate to say it, the P-Touch might be the slickest option for labeling these, if you're so inclined. Those tapes come in a bunch of opaque colors, they're tough, they don't ever smudge, and hold up to cleaning.

Well, it looks like the oil-based pens won't work. Thanks, Reptilr, for trying that out and saving me the heartbreak. I guess one of those small handheld label makers is my best bet. I doubt SI will have those write-on-able cartos by the time I want to buy them, so I've got to make other provisions. So now, Tina had one she liked, but it wasn't with laminated tape, and another was mentioned that did use laminated tape. Which would be best? I'm thinking the laminated tape. How hard is it to get the condoms back on? Just a tight fit? Impossible? Anyone know? I'm also tending to favor one that can be plugged in rather than having to use batteries. I remember seeing one that you could buy a power cord for. Some of the cheaper ones you could only use batteries.
