This vaping chart has been all over the 'net and back again but it is a good one for single coil devices. The only thing I would change: Light green blocks for 6 watts or less should be dark green.

um your red is just when it starts getting good and you dark red is where I vape. I have had attys last me over a month. You should really watch out what you learn at reddit. Steal does melt and 3 ohms attys can last a month at 7.4 v :p

ur talkin to me? personally i double the ohms and add .3 to get my ideal voltage...works pretty well, i've been using the same 2.4ohm vivi head @ 5.1 volts for the past 4 weeks...

I was talking about the chart in general. What ever works for you. But my batteries often charge to a point where that chart says the atty should not last. But most do and the last for weeks. If it works for you keep doing it. Just saying I think there is way more then what is expressed in that chart.

Ya nvm, realized u were talking about the chart after I posted. I don't use that thing like I said but a lot of ppl swear by it...completely unnecessary imo. my way much easier :)

or just double the ohms to get the right voltage...unless u enjoy studying charts...

I've seen you post this a couple of times, I just wanted to point out this puts you all over the place, the add two to the resistance is more consistent.

3ohm doubled is 6v, that's 12 watts.
1.5ohm doubled is 3v, that's 6 watts.

Where as,
3ohm plus 2 is 5v, that's 8.33 watts.
1.5 ohm plus 2 is 3.5v, that's 8.17 watts.

Most people, and even if you look at the chart, keep it around 8 watts, this is a much more consistent range, and not hard to remember. Just trying to keep someone from wondering what's wrong if they tried your method and it was weak or really hot.

I vape to taste anyway...one of the benefits of having VV is I can bump it up a .1 volt or two either way. I didnt even know how many watts I used until someone told me a few weeks ago. Ive never needed to know.

FYI in case anyone is looking, a good general rule of thumb is to take the resistance of your atty or cart and add 2 to it to get in range.

2ohm plus 2 would be 4 volt.
