I've vaping at a temperature of 380F to 400F when the coil resistance is read at .17 or .16. But now for some reason, the same coil is being read as .15 and I need to increase the temperature to 450F to get that nice warm vape. Why is that?

Oh and these coils are supposed to be .15 but they're almost never shown to be at .15 on the screen. I'm using a Halo Reactor 80 with Halo coils.

What mod? Dna boards, and some others, do refinement, which means that they continuously read the resistance and adapt accordingly. The coil might not have been exactly at room temperature when first read, and thus the .16/.17 reading wasn't accurate, which in turn means that the temperature wasn't accurate. Your 380-400F was thus more akin to 450F, and with the more accurate .15 reading you need to adjust the temperature higher so that you'll actually get 450F.

I'm using a Halo Reactor Mega 80. I put in a new coil a couple days ago and it started at .17 then went to .16 and now it's been at .15 for a day.
