Can you explain this a bit further, I’m brand new so some things I don’t understand like where do I put the ejuice in the cotton? From the top? Like inside the coil? And the parts about primer unpowered and powered? Sorry I’m a little slow lol

Sorry, I'll clarify. If you look straight down into the coil, you'll see cotton surrounding the mesh. There will be 1, 2,3 depending the the version. Place a drop or two on top of the cotton part of each mesh. Let it soak in. Repeat for each mesh. Repeat starting from "mesh 1" going around, maybe 5 or so drops each cotton mesh. No need to put lots down the open space as it'll just go straight through and come out the bottom of the coil. Doing this assures the cotton touching the mesh itself is wet.

Assemble and let sit. This let's the cotton get wet from the outside in. After several minutes, close the air slots and take one or two draws WITHOUT touching the fire button. This will help draw juice into the cotton. Open the air slots and repeat. Same reason.

Start low and go up 3 or4 W at a time with power. Leave a bit of time 15-30 seconds between each draw. Don't chain vape it. Stop wen you have the flavor and cloud you like. You've reached your. "sweet spot" for that coil. Should have no burning, scorching if you do that. It might take a half tank for the natural cotton taste to dissapate. That's normal and not a coil failure.

Hope that helps.

10 bux for one coil? Good gosh!!!

Sometimes it takes a bit to get good flavor. I've had coils take a tank full to get going good. Some work right away.

Don't sweat it. Could be that you have gotten a case of "sensory numb" so the flavor seems muted. Perfectly normal. If you can, try a different flavor. If not, drink some water before taking a puff.

Um I don't know where you are buying 10 coils but I'm fairly sure online you can get them a bunch cheaper than that. Really, with a bit of a wait online you can get coils fairly inexpensively.

If you have no money for a new coil and you have burnt it by under priming or wattage too high, take it out, soak it in some vodka or everclear, and then rinse thoroughly and see if that helps get rid of some of the taste.

Most coils don't last several weeks, at least mesh ones often don't. So the good/bad news is you can get coils for much less probably, by buying in bulk, but even if you can revive this one, it's unlikely to last weeks to a month unless you are vaping one ml per day.

I think your coil is toasted and the best thing you can do at this point is soak it and try to clean it (if you still have your other old coils, you can do that with them, too) to see if you can limp along until payday.

It's not exactly ideal, but it's better than returning to smoking. Good luck. Coils, in general, need to be considered a disposable but necessary expense of vaping, like juice and (over time) batteries so you need to factor it into your vaping budget.

Good luck and welcome :)

Yeah, new cotton has a funny, messed up taste for a little bit. It goes away with use.

Damnit that was my last $10 on that coil. I can’t get another one for a few weeks now maybe even a month and I just quit smoking :( ..... It doesn’t really taste burnt I don’t think I can’t describe it. It’s the normal taste with a hint of something different. Might be a bit burnt I can’t tell lol
Hopefully you will find some cheaper or you will find a few extra bucks. Just dont go back to smoking because of it (well I suppose you can do that either because of the funds) and try and figure something out so you have no excuses to, like a back up device and definitely extra coils. I know you just started, but to be serious about not smoking no more, you must save or budget in for back ups...good luck
