That's so funny that you've spent >$800 and only have one spinner currently in your possession. LOL. At least you will have more to show when your itaste gets back and your other stuff arrives.

There's a thread somewhere on here like "how much have you spent on hardware to date". I tallied mine up there, but I can't remember what I came up with.

Well I've ventured into vaping twice now. First time I want over board on gear and trying new things and spent easily what you spent (I'll be it over a much longer period), but that was just on me. I had nobody interested in vaping around me. This was about 2010 so vaping was really uncommon near me. You are paying it forward to other people so that is pretty cool :D.

Just remember this is money that is helping you reduce smokes and that is always a good thing. Just maybe take time to really evaluate what you want in an e-cig and delivery device to try and narrow down your purchases and also look at websites like fast tech, longer shipping but much lower prices.

About 200 dollars a month (which was my initial budget), and so right at $3,000. I meant to revise that monthly budget down after one year, but I really like some of the stuff I have been finding lately. ProVarii don't grow on trees, you know. Now that I have discovered RBAs, I will need a few of those, too.

But, I have a lot of gear and liquid to show for it...and a lot less of me as well since I am shedding weight left and right now that I can breathe...I call that 3K a good investment in my health. I don't have some nagging spouse screeching in my ear, either, so I get to spend what I wanna. If you spouse gives you grief, just get rid of them. I bet you can find some younger, hotter, more understanding person if you need to. The single life is full of opportunities! Remind your spouse of that if they get to taxing with their harping on, "this is a big waste of money...blah, blah, blah..."

I think most went to ejuices. I started with halo and ran out of juice when i went to reorder website was down,
Website was down for 3 days...
So then i had no juice and none coming,
So i ordered from juice mafia,
Couldnt even vape it yuck,
Then ordered from goodejuic, but it was just ok.
Finally halo was back up, ordered from them,
Then found mr e tried a couple samples eh ok.
Decided to order 4 bottles more from halo cuz juice is the key ingredient here.

Then tried a few samples wih high desert vaper and they had coupon for almost half off,
Got those back and went buck crazy on juices from them, because they actually tasted good with no steep time and alot xheaper than halo.

So maybe once i get all my equipment ill be ok for a few month other than a couple clearos.

I did just supposedly win a 650 ego, mini nova and charger, but i havent gotten it and dnt know when that will be shipped.

Trying to be positive here.
I think of the contest win as good karma for hooking up my family

When its all said and done i should have 2 320mah esmarts, 1 640 ego c, 1 1300mah vision spinner, and i itaste vv3. 5 batteries will be nice.

I should also have enou ejuice to equal 22 30 ml bottles. Now if my math is right, at ahould be 5-7 months of juice. I think.
I seem to be vaping 3-4 ml a day.

Shew!

I was spending $80 per week om cigarettes....... Now about $30 per week on Vapeware.... BUT just think of the Doctor bills that you will be saving in the future!!! :) Plus your house, the car, your clothes and your person DO NOT smell like an ashtray. My opinion...... the expense for the vaping supplies is definitely CHEAPER!!

I think most went to ejuices.

Yeah, it's easy to get carried away with juices. On the other hand, having a lot of juice around can save you in the long run. When I did my tally, I came up with about $386 in equipment costs -- but that's for both me and the wife, and frankly (don't tell her!) it could have been a lot less if I hadn't been buying stuff kinda speculatively in the hope that she'd grow as interested in vaping as I am -- maybe she'll prefer a different color; maybe she'll prefer a different battery or a different kind of tank, that sort of thing.

Anyway, toss in another ~$300 in juices, and the credit card's groaning a bit, but it looks worse than it really is. Most of the equipment doesn't have to be replaced or even supplemented for at least a year, and I still haven't used most of the juice yet. Some of it I haven't even tasted. I could probably make it to 2014 fairly comfortably without spending another dime. Of course, I will spend more dimes before January, but work with me here. :)

When you figure that my smoking habit, alone, accounted for somewhere around $4,000 per year, I'm still comfortably in the black, or soon will be. The problem, if you can call it a problem, is that cigarette money was spent casually and in cash on a day-to-day basis, whereas vaping supplies are generally bought in large chunks and placed on the credit card. So there's a temptation to spend the extra cash as if it just magically appeared in my wallet, rather than socking it away to put it towards the CC bill.

So the long and the short of all that rambling is that if you helped three people to quit smoking, then you've spent less than I have, per capita. :)

My First cou0ple of months were way overboard. Since then though I have the budget solidly in the $35-$75 a month range which is less than half of what I spent smoking. I am now about $150 ahead of the game rather than behind.

THat said I economize by not buying juice and making my own. Also by recoiling most of the heads for the clearo's I use. So realistically my costs probably could drop below the $35 point if I didn't get a new gadget now and then.

Once you find the kit that makes you happy the expenditures should drop. Just don't jump on every new thing that comes down the pipe :)
