Thats exactly what i told hubby bday in nov, anniversary in dec, xmas, bam all in one present that benefits both of us. But i still cant bring myself to tell him yet what that cost! I have no idea when he ports, he is on a sub, so no email or anything while he is under. Then he will just port, and he is one of those guys that checks the bank acct while hes calling home!

But with him not smoking theres so much of my smoking that was an issue..
I smoked in the house when he was at work, but the house still smelled like cigs most of the time, couldnt watch movies together cuz id want to stop to go have a smoke, brushing my teeth all the time just to kiss, so i was like forget kissing im brushing too much lol.
He would comment on my hair smelling like smoke.
When i was stressed i basically lived on the porch just chain smoking away, rain or shine. We rarely rode in the same vehicle.cuz yeah i have to smoke and drive. Coffee and a smoke, dinner then smoke, ohnwait let me go have a smoke first. Yeah ill be ther just let me finish this smoke first.... Hmmm maybe he wont mind afterall... Ill just maybe have to remind him from time to time

Honestly as long as you are not really hurting yourself financially and get control of the spending I doubt he is going to blow too big a gasket. If anything spin it as a positive thing for your relationship. :)

Next Thursday will be my 3 year mark in vaping. I've spent right around 9K so far. If I had continued smoking I would have spent around $7200. So I'm in the red around $1800. But I do like to collect mods and have turned this into something of a hobby and I look at it this way.By spending $1800 more than I spent smoking I have a drawer full of cool vaping toys that will last me the rest of my life and enough DIY supplies to last me several years instead of 32,619 butts in my ashtray. Plus I haven't smoked in 3 years. That alone is worth the extra $600/year to me.

But I'm done with toys unless something truly revolutionary comes out. :D

$390( since aug 10,13 ) made some experimental choices...so far im up $211 compared to smoking cigs....excellent app in the app store called vape mate (iThings, idk about android) keeps track of time you have quit smoking, cigs not smoked, money saved or not vs smoking cigs by vaping...makes me smile when i look at it

me and the gf were sitting down having this convo the other day lol. we were sitting there tallying up all that ive spent and we came up with a number somewhere close to $800. i started off at free (nephew gave me his ego C twist and nova mini) then i broke that ego (like many others probably have here) so i bought another one. then i bought a pro tank. broke another ego. bought another. broke the tank on the protank. bought a pt2. bought the gf an ego with standard atty (starter kit) hated the atty so i bought her a pt2. broke another ego so i bought an itazte vv v3. then i bought the mod (bagua ti 22) and kfl. then batteries (3 aw imrs and 2 panasonic ncr 18650pds) nitcore i4 charger for home and an i2 charger for the office...but when it boils down to it i 1. am analog free 2. feel better 3. dont smell like an ashtray. i say the trade off is worth it lol.

oh and the juice. cant forget the juice. im buying 60ml of juice every 2 weeks or so. could be sooner could be later depending on the work load and stress level lol.

That's so funny that you've spent >$800 and only have one spinner currently in your possession. LOL. At least you will have more to show when your itaste gets back and your other stuff arrives.

There's a thread somewhere on here like "how much have you spent on hardware to date". I tallied mine up there, but I can't remember what I came up with.

dont you hate getting bashed on?, a forum like this should be about help and advice not hahaha....cod forums are all over @ spazmelda, js.....

OP, if he knew how concerned you were about this he would probably laugh, at least I would given the same circumstance. I think it is nice of you to be giving away the items that don't work well and helping others. I have spent about $1000 myself recently and would consider over half of it a wash. I hope you find something that works and your DH is appreciative of the idea that you don't have to live a smokers life anymore.
