I have some good Swedish snus that I bought a lot of awhile back. It's past it's best by date now (6/24) because I got caught up with all my pv's. I've heard that you can take a few drips of distilled water in the can, shake it very well and the snus is good as new. Anyone know? Is it at least not bad, right? It's been either refrigerated or frozen the whole time.

I have a bunch of stuff thats past it best used by date. I haven't had any problems with it at all and haven't added any water to any of it. It's been in the refrigerator the whole time and hasn't dried out at all. I haven't dropped dead yet so you should be ok.:D

Some of my stuff dates back to April and still tastes great. That's what happens when you buy everything in sight.

If it was in the fridge it should be okay. You didn't say if it was loose or portions, but if it looks a bit dry a little of distilled water should do the trick.

I believe the way to do it is spay a bit in the can, shake it up and put in the fridge for a few days. Should be good as nearly new. Snus really doesn't spoil to easily. It will dry out and loose some flavor. The PH may also drop some which would decrease the nicotine absorption a bit.
