Well, I was going to use the stuff anyways, have been DIY'ing for well over two years now. I slowly built up an abundance of supplies in that time just being the nature of the beast in shopping for cost effectiveness. Collected the mods I like as a reward to myself for money not spent on smokes. A lot of stuff I got used or at deep discount clearance prices, it's a hobby as well as a NRT for me.

Seeing as the regs are already in place, I can only assume that you have an abundance of faith in our court system in ruling against these regs. Otherwise, what other factor lends you to be as optimistic ? Just being curious is all.
The way I look at it is that I will use everything I have bought with the exception of a huge box of rayon ($15) and about 1300ft of various wire (<$50). Likely I will never get thru all of that.

I like my DIY and I bought about 4l of NIC. If it goes bad or doesn't last 20 years, I am out a few bucks. Not a big deal.

Lastly, I did stock up on $29 Provaris, which I love using. That will save me money, as I could give a rat's @$$ what the latest and greatest 300w TC mod is.

I hope cooler heads prevail, but I would be shocked if things are the exact same in 2 years as they are today.

You think the FDA is going to have an Illegal Vapeware Software Update goon squad? What, are they gonna have the NSA pull ALL U.S. emails with the words Vape and Firmware in them?

Really? Seriously?

So you are saying the FDA is so dumb they can't visit Joyetech, Evolve, eleaf, etc and see for themself is a new update has been released?

The FDA is evil NOT STUPID.

Really though, as I posted elsewhere:

I "suspect" that at some point in the near future, bulk nic will be limited to only those with a "Resale" license.

Nic is the bottleneck, without nic none of the hardware matters. Choke off the nic supply and you choke off the entire industry.
Agreed.
Without nic. Vapers will be forced back to the stinkies.

I no longer need nic thank God.

Some people sure have a lot of confidence in the FDA, a Government agency to actually accomplish something.

This is the same Government that interviewed the Orlando shooter 3 times in 2 years and decided he wasn't terrorist enough. (Not to mention the 911 guys, Shoe Bomber and Boston Bombers they all had turned over to them, then let them go to kill.)

The FDA can't keep our FOOD safe, and they got a Vape Squadron to send to China?

I saw this FDA thing coming when I first started vaping 1.5 years ago.
So I started building up inventory back then.
1.5 years later I am set for at minimum 2 years to not even buy any DIY supplies and have spent 1/3 or less of what I would have spent on smoking. Out of that money I have piffed a lot of my older stuff to others to get them off of cigs and still am set for a minimum of 2 years.
15 years on nic, equipment and wire.
Will need some flavorings, PG/VG and batteries in about 2 years. Otherwise just fine.
I picked up 8 mech mods for a grand total of $100 or less including shipping over that time. Looked for great deals.
The most I paid for a regulated mod was $30. Most were $20 range. I won 2 Mods.
Have a Dozen 18650's 10 of the HG2's bought for around $6 each.

I would much rather err on the side of caution.
Whichever side is wrong should admit it.
I hope that I am wrong but cannot see it so far as the way things stand.
Ditto

Which is better?

1. To prep and nothing happen.

2. To not prep and be forced back into cigarettes because i refused to do the sensible thing and prep just a few things

I will choose option #1.

Still spent less money hoarding, than what I would have burned smoking!
Yeah, I live in a tobacco state and it was still getting very expensive for me, the $$ was a big motivator to switch to vaping. I was inhaling 5-8 big fat 50/60 ring gauge cigars a day. Even cheap cigars at JRs or wherever are couple bucks a piece.

I never thought FDR threatening to pack the Supreme court to get his way would stand but they cowered and did what FDR wanted.

I never thought Roe vs Wade would stand in the supreme court. But it did

I never thought the Government would let Millions of Mexicans in the US.

NEVER THOUGHT THE government WOULD be $20 trillion in debt but were almost there

Never thought the American and imported Muslims take over part of town and set up Sharia law in communities and police can't go into.

Never thought the government would allow men in womens redte rooms to make the transgendered FEEL comfortable.

The people of the Govt forgot they serve the people instead of bullying THR citizens around.

And the Govt WILL enforce those deeming regulations UNLESS THEY ARE STOPPED bh the congress or the President.

Sorry but i prep and encoursge others to prep because yoy may be wrong.

If i still needed nic i would gladly pay ,$10,000 for prepping to get that monkey off my back.

Im only suggesting people spend $500 to prep the essentials

Like any poor marksman you constantly keep missing the target, now let's say it again.

THE FDA REG'S ARE THE TOOL THE STATE'S AND MUNICIPALITIES WILL USE.

I can't disagree except on your way too soon timing.

Just getting an age verification in place in 6 MONTHS is "overwhelming the system" right now. How and How much to tax juice isn't an easy answer (to me). I think it's still a couple years out for them to finalize the Federal taxing of E-Juice. And you can't Tax the Hell out of an industry that you Kill, silly Hoarders.

There is still Plenty of time to buy me a years worth of the excellent economy juice I use today and enough nic for a couple more years before any Big taxes finally hit.

One state wantz to tax 2 mls ejuice the same as a pack of cigarettes.

These States want money and want it badly so they are passing sin taxes. Taxes on cigarettes, taxes on ejuice. And taxes on liquor.

They know they can't raise sales and property taxes without the citizens voting the taxes down.

The only people with a really rude awakening coming are the Sky is Falling stockpiling hoarders. Just like it is for Almost Every other the Sky is Falling! Stockpile! Hoard! situation that doesn't come to pass. Of course, they'll never Admit to being wrong, they'll just say Well, I was already going to buy and use it all anyway.
Yep. I'm in a position now where I can vape for the rest of my life essentially for free, and my lifetime "stockpile" cost way less over the 2-1/2 years I spent building it than the $11k I would have spent on cigs over that same period.

My prediction, three months from now :

Currently available hardware will be about 10 % cheaper than it is now on average. Nicotine, i'm not sure, but roughly the same price as today is my guess.

We'll see.

Stockpiling is mostly a psychological issue though. What price for ease of mind ?
Mazuny. Nothing would make me happier for yoy go be right.

I prep just in case your rose colored glasses are wrong.

This is from last year about 22 States taxing ejuice, now with the FDA ruling vaping as tobacco this will not just grow but explode

Hey, a LOT of the folks I hang with swear by it. Just not my cup of tea. For me it is like the difference between a Stick Shift and an Automatic. I just want to hit a button and vape, squaonking I have to "think" about.
That's actually a pretty good analogy. I wonder how much correlation there is between people (like me!) who prefer to drive sticks and people who like squonk mods.

Oh, and like stick, a squonker setup is easier/cheaper to maintain than than those fancy "automatic" tanks. :D
