Vapers have been doing a lot of self delusion ever since the FDA's first go around with regulating Ecigs.
The FDA has their ducks in a row this time.
They may lose in a lawsuit but don't count on it.
Remember, the FDA has the resources of 320 million people to fight any lawsuit. The motivation of the politicians to protect their revenue stream..........

Bottom line we're screwed unless we let the politicians know we're out to replace them. But with what I've seen online "and" the complete lack of concern from the B&M's I've been in ...................

I'm hording and insure I have a good stockpile.

I'm sure the FDA has said that these restrictions only apply to products sold in America. Evolv and any of the e-liquid companies will be free to make anything they want so long as it's for export only. Americans are rich but represent only 4% of the world's smokers. We might see American products exported and then smuggle back in. This is all Looney Tunes.
You know, a year or so ago, a lot of people (myself included!) were thinking it was a dumb move on Evolv's part to do business with Chinese mod-makers. All of a sudden, it doesn't look so dumb, does it? o_O

I still contend that Evolv doesn't need to file a PMTA, particularly if they don't sell boards to end-users. A regulator board is not a "finished tobacco product". It's up to the mod-makers to file PMTAs who wish to sell mods in the US to do that.

It's interesting to speculate what constitutes a 'finished tobacco product'.

Does a tank class as a finished product if it is not sold with the mod necessary to use it?
I expect it probably is.
What about parts of a tank?

Could we see something like the 80% receivers for guns?
A tank that is useless until the buyer drills out the air hole maybe?

Something to think about...

"It should also be noted that with passage of this bill, "No wholesaler or other person may purchase e-cigarette liquids from any seller not approved by the Tax Commission," setting up a requirement for any company who sells products into WV to first be approved by the state to do so, beginning on July 1st."

That's more problematic than the tax imo.

To each their own vape. Whatever keeps the nico-demon off your shoulders.

The last time this all came around I didnt hoard/stock up/buy insurance/whatever. This time though it feels different.

Only time will tell. It will be very interesting to see what happens starting day 91. It is all up to them how vigorously they decide to enforce this, and they are being very coy about telling us what to expect. Look at prescription drugs from India, they really havent tried very hard to stop those. Will this be treated just as lightly?

With these regulations they do hold the necessary cards though, we just need to wait and see how they play them.

Well, think about this: already, there are B&Ms that are closing their doors, online shops that now are not selling to this or that state, and no doubt there will be more of these situations as we move toward Aug 8 and over the next couple years. Then it would not surprise me to see a few B&Ms, and maybe even some individuals, prosecuted by the FDA and the media be all over it -- in other words "make an example of them" so everyone *knows* what could happen to them if they keep on with their wicked (oh, gag me with a length of Kanthal) ways. And follow up with the occasional random similar prosecution. Puts fear into the hearts of the industry, and they'll count on that fear to cut it back and shut it up.

Are we even going to make it to August?
Lol - I've got my finger over the "Complete Purchase" button for another liter of nicotine, and I've already got two in the mail on the way. Plus the scratch and dent freezer mikepetro pointed us to.

That's right folks don't buy vaping stuff now.
Wait till you can contribute more to your wonderful government buy buying vape stuff later.

It really is disengenious. Someone that doesn't realize what is truly going on may think everything will be fine according to this person. Kind of like what some stores are doing. It makes me a little :-x
