I haven't had any problems with this, but nice to know what to try if the problem arises. Thanks for posting.
I have a question because I've not heard it your way.. I was planning on adding some silica gel packs to the bag, then (lightly) vacuum sealing, (keeping tested mod in original packaging in bag) then storing for long term in a closed Rubbermaid container.
What is the rubber for your talking about? I've not heard of it.
As I understand your mods now are protected from direct lightening strike and indirect nuclear one...Sillica gel in the vacuum sealed bags would absorb moisture.
About the rubber my mods and spare phone are wrapped in
They are put in there to protect from EMP.
IF there is an EMP energy will go around the steel can. The rubber acts as an insulator to protect my spare phone vabd mods
I said EMP a direct liggtning strike would burn a HOLE or melt part of the can.As I understand your mods now are protected from direct lightening strike and indirect nuclear one...

Yea that's the one. Just double checking if I read that right.@Haylon357 i read somewhere on here not to use the lids with the red seal as that leeches into the solution.
that is how I stored the last gallon of nic,I can't remember where it was and I can't find it. Is it alright to store nic in Mason jars and put them in the freezer? I read something about plastic lids

you are correct,, I was worried about air pressure/any micro amount of water content trying to get out of the jar. simply said I was trying to avoid any pressure if I could. --no regrets.VG and PG are not water. They do not expand when exposed to temperatures which would freeze water.
Unless you found some colored mason jars, you can shut out the light by putting a sock over them ... light is not good for nicotine either.that is how I stored the last gallon of nic, wide mouth jars
we tend to eat fresh this time of year,, so about the only light they ever see is when i am checking on them. the socks are a good idea. if and when i move to a boat,, i might be storing the nic in a ss water/thermos bottle.. ==cross that bridge laterUnless you found some colored mason jars, you can shut out the light by putting a sock over them ... light is not good for nicotine either.
That also helps to keep them from "clinking" together.
BTY, PG and VG both shrink in the freezer, so filling to the top was the right move.
They also will not freeze solid ... not in home freezers![]()
I actually wrap my clear glass bottles and even my blue and amber bottles in aluminum foil, then in bubble wrap and finally put them in food saver bags. I feel sure no light or air is gonna get to my stash of nic. Just have to hide it from the Raccoons.we tend to eat fresh this time of year,, so about the only light they ever see is when i am checking on them. the socks are a good idea. if and when i move to a boat,, i might be storing the nic in a ss water/thermos bottle.. ==cross that bridge later
Seems a lot of folks were robbed by squirrels but in my case it was those rascally raccoonsRaccoons or squirrels?![]()
Squirrel monkeys are smarter, and can be trained better by their grey-market owners.Raccoons or squirrels?![]()
The fire meter is dual parallel, can go below 0.2 ohm, and USA Ohm Meter makes about the most accurate ohm meters available. That's why I got it. If you never build below 0.2 and are not obsessive with accuracy (I'm primarily vaping on Mech's so I am ) the Geek Vape or coil master is fine then.I remember the 1st time you mentioned the Fire Meter & I had a look at it. The only thing I could think is you had to buy it for the quality cause for me I dont see myself spending $90 worth of time building one coil.
The lowest I vape is 0.3 & my previous ohm meter served it's purpose for over a year before falling apart. I bought the coil master tab 521. I'm not doing complicated builds that need more than that. Skipped Geek Vapes meter after seeing several pics of it breaking. The fire meter is dual parallel, can go below 0.2 ohm, and USA Ohm Meter makes about the most accurate ohm meters available. Yeah the coil master I really liked, no major complaints other than the attachment with the clips for annealing wire, checking ohms, etc is pure crap and worthless. The lowest I vape is 0.3 & my previous ohm meter served it's purpose for over a year before falling apart.
