Thank you for this link.Looks like flavored ecigs will be allowed so there is even less reason to think that flavors will be an issue.
White House OMB scrapped FDA plan to ban flavors
Unwatching threads like thins can help.Yup, and it's really starting to effect me with stress and I'm really getting tired of the whole thing.![]()
Two plus years ago, when the Deeming was first proposed/published, I was stressed. It had only been a few months since the miracle of vaping got me off a 36 year old 2 PAD habit in less than one week, and I only had a single liter of nic in my freezer.stress
True, but at the same time I want to know any updates and sometimes people will post something I haven't thought of.Unwatching threads like thins can help.

We expect that asserting our authority over these tobacco products will enable us to propose further regulatory action in the future as appropriate
We note, however, that FDA is not banning any type of tobacco product, so we expect current classes
of products to be available under the final rule, although there may be some loss of product variety and price increases for some products.
Potential substitution towards black market or do-it-yourself products could affect the public health benefits of this final rule. We are unable to predict the likelihood or size of this effect.
It is likely that some manufacturers within each particular industry segment will be able to bear the burden of complying with the regulation and it is therefore highly unlikely that all entities or products within a ny segment would choose to exit.
We continue to assume a substantial amount of product consolidation and exit will occur as a result of regulation
we expect most vape shops that currently mix e- liquids will convert to a retail model
We do, however, forecast that most vape shops will cease to engage in mixing or
other manufacturing activities
At most, a handful of ENDS products may have been on the market as of February 15, 2007.
Therefore, nearly all ENDS products will be subject to premarket review
We expect a much larger share of ENDS products to exit rather than submit a
premarket application.
we expect that one percent of ENDS devices may be grandfathered. We also assume
54 percent of delivery systems and somewhere between 50 and 87.5 percent of e-liquids
will not submit a marketing application and will exit the market
we forecast that annual submissions for new products seeking marketing authorization will be between 5 and 10 percent of the number of products that will remain on themarket
Overall average cost per PMTA= $466,563
We do, however, expect there to be a substantial amount of product exit for certain product categories, such as ENDS
The ENDS market would be subject to the most severe disruption because flavors make up the majority of the market and there likely will not be any flavored grandfathered ENDS products.
I am trying to see a positive in this, but it is not doing much for me. Stand alone liquids will have to get through the process before the flavor becomes the issue. I look at this as flavors contained in the cartridge will be allowed, for now, until they're not. How can a e-liquid get through the entire process without having FDA allowed devices to test them in?Looks like flavored ecigs will be allowed so there is even less reason to think that flavors will be an issue.

Actually, yes
If you have Netflix then watch "Sugar Coated". About half of the back half includes our very own ANTZ zealot Glantz explaining how the anti-sugar zealots should use his ANTZ playbook to wreak havoc in the food store...[/QUOTE
Watch out Big Sugar. They run half of this state.
I know, I am trying to rein myself in, but let's just say this is the first time in years I carried a balance on my CC and didn't pay it all off! LOL
I'd write a couple Smoking sentences to them on the survey about what I thought about BT and what bodily orifice they could slide their survey into.Got something in the mail today, a survey from the cigarette company. Wants to know what brand I smoke. The final part of the survey asks about ecigs and if I prefer pen type like Vuse or something else. Under the something else it lists mod types. The cig companies are deciding what to promote I guess. I am not filling it out
I'm in the same boat folks. I'm doing it all this month. I'm not very picky about hardware. Kayfuns are good for me forever. I have a FT order coming tomorrow (took 3 weeks) with kayfuns and pico's and other assorted stuff. If I like the Kayfuns I'm just going to buy 20 of them + parts and call it a wrap. I'm probably going to by 10-15 Pico's + some Cloupor mini's. I know they have a board and won't last forever. If I can get 2 years out of each then so be it. I have mechs already that I don't use but will if I have to.
- Ban on all e-liquid tastes apart from tobacco
Only tobacco-flavored e-liquids will be allowed for sale to prevent the attractiveness of the products to the youth and prevent children from drinking it. The ban also applies to nicotine-free liquids.
- Ban on all distance sales
E-cigarettes, e-cigarette parts and e-liquids can only be bought at a physical store. You are not allowed to buy any of these from the web or otherwise, domestically or internationally.
Sounds like me then! Been using mech + kayfun since... ages... And i'm perfectly happy with them.
I also DIY. However DIY might become hard (in sweden) So i might need to stock up on some Nic. Even more so since, sweden loves to be the worst, we might get it even worse than finland.

Pretty similar story here as well Rossum, back in 2014 I figured it was time to make preparations to keep going no matter what, one of the reasons I chose to stick with the Protank coils and load up on them, I can re-build them little suckers and make them last a really long time. Yesterday I ordered a bunch more packs at 4$ ea. Most of my re-buildable atties were gotten off the classies section, or bought in closeout sales. Over Memorial day weekend a vendor was blowing out a flavoring brand at 70% off.Two plus years ago, when the Deeming was first proposed/published, I was stressed. It had only been a few months since the miracle of vaping got me off a 36 year old 2 PAD habit in less than one week, and I only had a single liter of nic in my freezer.
But I figured I had a year or so before the bureaucrats could possibly get their act together and their nonsense would take effect. It ended up taking twice that long, and I made the most of it. So stressed now? Nope.
Upset that others in the future won't have the same opportunity I did? Yes, very much so.![]()
