Sounds like a police state. Smells like a police state. Dayum I am glad to be an Aussie after reading all that. Sounds like the land of the Gestapo.

Those were just statistics showing the incarceration rate and police "presence" within the U.S. While that data does raise eyebrows it doesn't present the complete picture, it actually gets much worse than indicated by those statistics alone. Instead of expounding the other issues/data I'll just say that the unusual level of aggressive dominance/spying/control the U.S. government exerts upon its citizenry is in direct correlation with the public's growing apathy concerning what its government does. The latter creates the environment necessary for the former to exist, thrive and expand. Definitely not the same nation it was fifty or sixty years ago (when I was young) and it's only going to get worse as time progresses.

You poor Americans. What are they trying to do to you? I am going to feel terribly guilty vaping on my joyetech DNA RX500 mod with my
Wickless variable platinum coil ohmage while you guys are sucking on 280 mah cigalikes :(

True the DNA RX500 wickless platinum rig will likely be banned here in the U.S. but I'm growing weary of all these sub kV mods anyways, the wickless tech I desire will need some real power. Once we break the kV battery barrier (Samsung 25000R), liquid injected flexible ceramic coated laser powered PVs will quickly dominate the field of wickless vaping. A Chinese product that's fun to use (and will be marketed) as a cat toy. To my knowledge cat toys still pass right through U.S. customs. One word of caution: Don't let fluffy "catch" the laser dot....

One thing that you US ppl should be grateful of is, that you've aaalot of ppl on your side that cares.
EU is abit worse in that part. "Noone cares, put your head under the pillow and all will be fine" - mentality.

Altho both US and EU are basicly facing the same impending doom, though.

A global problem to be sure.

I wish that were true, I think people often forget ECF and other ecig communities are just a small bubble of the vaping public here in the US as a whole. The vast majority of vapers here are blissfully unaware of the FDA period let alone what they are doing to vaping. I partly blame the B&M vape shops who area large point of contact for most vapers, for not doing advocacy work, but, hey, most of them are still blissfully unaware too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Kayfuns are ok. If they had post holes or some easier way to trap the leads it would help my messed up left hand.

Some people remove the screws and use the corner edge of a file to cut a V shape groove in the top of the Kayfun base to catch the wires, replace the screws and makes it much easier to trap the coil.

Thanks for the tip. I will probably do that on the negative block.

After i get the first wire trapped the second lead is relatively easy after i trap the first lead.

Pretty similar story here as well Rossum, back in 2014 I figured it was time to make preparations to keep going no matter what, one of the reasons I chose to stick with the Protank coils and load up on them, I can re-build them little suckers and make them last a really long time. Yesterday I ordered a bunch more packs at 4$ ea. Most of my re-buildable atties were gotten off the classies section, or bought in closeout sales. Over Memorial day weekend a vendor was blowing out a flavoring brand at 70% off.

I'm going to be watching for deep discount sales on things like flavoring and coils going forward, but at this time I can vape in an enjoyable fashion for many years to come. I hope as many vapers as possible can do the same. I too feel sad for the environment created and damage to the public perception of vaping that these damning regulations will impart.

FDA has misguidedly initiated a huge overall negative affect to the general health of the population of smokers, and to the children and loved ones of those smokers, by condemning the children of smokers to the exposure to their smoke.

#FDA hurts kids to stop adults from enjoying vaping.
When I first heard of regs possibly cutting short what had saved my life, I woke up in the middle of the night in a panic and ordered, from MBV wholesale, like a gallon of Butter Pecan ejuice. Gross. I also learned to rebuild protanks coils then. The MBV juice sat under my kitchen sink until it got dark DARK. I finally poured it down the toilet

Not to rouse any rabble but Dimi answered my similar question on Smoke Free Radio tonight.
I asked if USPS could refuse to deliver vapemail if/when it's officially classified as tobacco.
He said yes, but it would be hard to enforce.
Terrifying.

He needs to read the actual P.A.C.T. Act which gives the USPS authority to NOT deliver Cigarettes(cigars were at the time specifically written into the Act to be excluded as they weren't deemed a tob product when they act was written and passed by congress). Congress will need to amend the P.A.C.T. if they wish ecigs to be included along with changing it to include the other newly deemed products.

And with that said, yes I do expect some USPS zealots to attempt to not deliver ecig stuff.:( I think its gonna get messy.

For all the vendors and B+Ms who tell customers and employees that it will be business as usual after the deeming regs go through in August.

I have worked for a couple of companies that went out of business ... the owners never let a hint drop of what was coming ... they just closed the doors and posted a note that they were out of business.

I predict the same thing will happen with a lot of Vape businesses.

I agree with this, that's why I am not relying on my vendor's good business practice and benevolent intentions to let the customer know beforehand. For them to do that they need to predict what's going to happen and like any business in a hostile political and commercial environment, they can't control what might happen tomorrow.

Anyone who has ever been involved with online poker will know that when Black Friday hit no one expected it. Not the business owners, not the poker pros who had hundreds of thousands in their poker accounts, not the amateur players and not even congress.

One day, thousands of Americans were playing online poker in their favorite poker sites in the usual tournament of the day, concerned with flops, turns, odds and stack and the next a black screen replaced each of these very established and popular poker sites with a message that the site was under investigation.

Some poker pundits knew that the U.S. Government was looking into legislation to ban online poker and would take conservative measures with the size of their real money account on sites but when that day came it hit like a bullet in the back of the head. It was a Black Friday indeed.

Even to this day, 3 years later I still see no Americans on the biggest poker sites that were initially run and owned by Americans and had Americans as the majority players. Back then it would have been very difficult to believe a scenario so bleak among poker enthusiasts of a complete ban on Americans for playing poker online.

The size of the industry didn't matter to the government either. Poker has boomed since 2003 when Moneymaker won the WSOP and poker is played in every club and bar. It has become ubiquitous like vaping but that didn't stop the government from closing down an entire industry in one fell swoop while they slept.

It could happen to vaping too. The U.S. Government is ruthless. You are no longer the free country. As nanny state as Australia is it seems we have more liberties than you guys have nowadays.

You guys have to fight really hard right now before the government has a 'black Friday' for vaping.

I am very glad to hear this. MFS is the only flavorless nic vendor to ship to Australian with postage that is not prohibitive.

Have you checked Nicotine River also? My Nicotine 100mg/mL from MFS came already yellowed and with odor, not too bad but not ideal

I have a question about the rayon for wicking: What exactly would I look for at Sally's ... exact name of the rayon item?

Quick question...I plan on ordering some kayfun monster mini v3 tomorrow, they are only five bucks at FT. The fill has a screw on the bottom? How do you guys that use kayfuns deal with that?
A 3 or 10ml syringe and blunt tip 14 gauge needle will take care of your problem :). Size depends on the tank capacity. Buy spares because eLiquid can be tough on the plungers.

PITA if you're out and about. Why do they do that? It seems so inane! I don't understand why they can't just twist off and fill from bottom. I really wanted to grab a lot of those. There's still a sale on stm, I already have two, but I will grab two more. I think they are dependable tanks.

Is mounting the coils on the kayfuns as easy as stm? If there is a little difficulty I won't mind.

So glass dripper bottles are out of the question? Is it hard with regular plastic bottles? Kayfuns are super dependable though? I definitely do want some that will last. The price is so good that I could reasonably stock up.
