There is not one mod on the market today or in the future whether it be mechanical or regulated that the FDA will be able to do anything about as long as they are packaged with one of these. The FDA has no domain over flashlights.

IMHO that is one thing that reviewers should be doing.
Where to get parts, what parts to get, how to repair, etc.
They should be teaching survival skills to vapers.
After all the ones in the US will have no new products to review after August.

Actually in both.

A vaper with survival training.

I am so disappointed to see this picture. It looks like it is "reversed" 510, no way a tank can be attached to this battery. Do all 510 flashlights are made like this one?

Are there variable voltage flashlights? Do LED heads support that? I think the point is that they will be made and marketed as "flashlight" batteries even though most will not be sold for blackout insurance....

That is not a battery it is the back view of the flashlight showing the 510 connector.

The thing that ticks me off are the idiots who say " but i don't want to rebuild or DIY Juice.' i hope they like smoking.

If they had gotten off their butts and prepared 10 months ago they could have saved a LOT of money.

I saw sales where a liter of 100 mg/ml nicotine for $24.

They didn't prepare and they have to pay the piper.

Feeling pretty smug and self-righteous, are we? I'm sorry that it "ticks you off" when people don't follow your orders to a t, but no one should be forced to build their own coils or make their own juice. Not everyone's mechanically inclined or wants to go through the whole rigmarole, (esp when it comes to juice). Calling everyone who didn't start 10 months ago "idiots" is offensive, and ridiculous.

Whatever happens, I won't be going back to coffin nails. I'll use snus or simply suffer through cold turkey first.

Lots of Coil heads and push come shove, a lot of members swear by Flavorless.

Before I'd call anyone an idiot, I'd offer to teach them what I could, if they were interested.:D

Most of us have experienced "flavorless" at one point or another through vaper's tongue. It's not as pleasurable as a good flavor, but it does the job.

You're right, it'd be much more productive to offer solid advice rather than saying "I told you so! Now you're screwed, I hope you like smoking! nyah nyah nyah!" :pervy: ..from atop a stockpile. The other guy seems more interested in that, instead of helping those who aren't "survivalists", though.

Whatever. At least there are plenty of more helpful members of this forum to consult.

Somewhere out there
I think I am finally getting all my vaping ducks in a row for DIY and eventual building coils. Geez I have a ton of stuff from over the years but thinking of not being able to buy stuff when ever is a little freaky! But i am getting there for doomsday regulations.

It better suits us to band together instead of calling out those who are less fortunate than us.

Reminder, please treat others as you would like to be treated. Name calling will NOT be tolerated.

It is more productive to help those find their way into the DIY realm if they are wishing to seek that avenue. Or if they are not able (and yes, there are those that cannot DIY so don't be condescending!) point them in a direction that can help them.

I am slowing building a stash of ready made. I have done my experiment on year old flavored liquid placed in the freezer right from the mailbox. It was as fresh new and didn't start the aging process until I removed the cap.

I hope this helps someone that is like me and has no hand or head for DIY.

I do have nic in the freezer because I have tried the unflavored and I do like it. I have stocked up my preferred nic to pg/vg ratio unflavored and plan to get more.

I know that most longtime vapers don't even use Evod or eGo etc. batteries any more...that are recharged using the little 510/eGo chargers. But for those that DO still use them and maybe plan to in the future if they have a stash of them - stockpiling some extra chargers couldn't hurt. Having the batts, but no way to charge them won't do any good! Plus, many websites have the chargers on clearance or at closeout prices now.

Also, for those of us who don't rebuild coils, use RDAs or RBAs, etc. we've got to think about having enough coils stockpiled for our clearos and/or tanks. I'm pretty sure I do, and have many more on the way. But...should I exhaust all of those plus my 150+ little Vision Nano clearos...while I'm still alive and vaping - I found and ordered some of the really old school JoyeTech & eGo Mega Cone Shaped 1.5 and 2.0ohm attys for $.50 each! Also bought a bunch of the tanks for them, but can also use them for dripping (should push come to shove). Also got some 2.0ohm SmokTech cartomizers for $.50 each! I also got some of the short 510 attys in SR and LR, for dripping, at another website on clearance. Just thought maybe some others like me, who don't build coils, might want to consider those as well, as a last resort to keep from having to go back to the smokes in the longrun.

Oh, by the way, the Mega attys, tanks, cartomizers, etc. are at The Vapor Room, and they still have plenty of them right now.

I build my own coils, but applaud you for helping out those who do not!

@DebiK - Thanks!

I was just putzing around the other day with some of my stashed old stuff and pulled out one of my new Mega attys & a tank. Gave them a try & rediscovered that wonderful, true-flavor, vapor they provide. Thought to myself, yeah, I could easily live with this instead of going back to smoking in years ahead. Just wanted to remind others they also may want to "rediscover" that old school stuff can still be great, too.
