It is a mod but it is a variable. The convo is revolving around Mechanicals. (no adjustments just fires temp depending on what size coil you build.)
the reason folks are talking that everyone should have a mech mod is for long term because there is not a lot that can break with a mech. With a variable you have all that wiring and a brain inside

Planning on only using it if I need to. I just want to be prepared. I DON'T WANT TO SMOKE!

I carried a SMPL MECH as a backup for my istick40tc just in case it was drained.

I got a mod with 18650 battery and started carrying a spare battery then sold my mech.

Thinking of another mech not a hybrid tho.

You may (or may not) find you enjoy it more then you think, you should try it.

This morning I'm using a telescoping mech myself, a Galileo, with a RTA at .4Ω. Its a very smooth mellow vape. Mechs bring the power on slow and easy
I saw a video with Tia using a mini on it so I feel safe...lol...

Have only read the first couple of pages and the last few, so apologies if already discussed, but any reason you guys are stockpiling now ? Am i misreading the deemings, or is it that you just don't trust the FDA. Do we not theoretically have access to everything that's currently on the market, until Aug 7, 2018 ? Aren't vendors going to introduce new products at least until Aug 7, 2016 ?
Hi Maz
An excuse to buy stuff

I do own one of these Sigelei ZMAX V3 Telescopic Variable Mod Is this like a mech?
ummm.................No, that is a Regulated Tube Mod.

Mech simply means Mechanical - No Wires, No chips, No display - No Regulation or built-in Protection.
Simplest source of direct power delivery. Switch/Tube/Topcap - Decent Mechanical mod have LOCK mechanisms.

Everybody is usually willing to help. You can always PM someone if you feel funny asking the question. I think 99% of the peeps on this thread would be fine with that

Here you are. There's mech mods here. These ones are very special ones. They are called squonker boxes or bottom feeding drip mods. You squeeze on the bottle inside the mod to feed juice to your atomizer, usually an RDA converted over to bottom feeding.

All you do then is press your fire button on top of the box. You can take about four to six draws off a squonked atomizer. Then, you may want to give a few more squeezes to wet the wick again. The result is your atomizer keeps fresh juice on hand and any excess goes back to the bottle until you use it up. It makes dripping lots more free of hassle, mess. :)

And aye, I'm a bonkers squonker. :) Hehe. Will be back to it soon, missing it terribly.

You might check out the Kayfun Mini V3 clones, there is a thread in the RTA area on them.

Much simplified over prior KFs and even I was able to make it work on the first build, even with a
3.2 ohm coil. (Oops.) Most of the prior Kayfunners seem to like them a lot.

Size is a bit of a minor issue though, that standard size is only 2 ml and the Plus is 3 ml.

A little to pricey for me. Looks cool though. :)
