The reason i have trouble trapping leads is because i have 1 1/2 hands. Three fingers on my left hand are curled up snd useless.

Yea i can totally see the issue, even more so when even i can have troubles at times.
They're quite rough to get right.

It still seems so obnoxious to me that you have to unscrew under the tank to expose the hole to fill with. Hey tho! Keeps your e liquid safe from the chillrens! Right?
If the fda were reasonable they would like that.

Meh u'll get used to it.
I always carry a small nipplecap bottle + screwdriver with me wherever i go, so i can refill on the go.
However if you drop the screw on the floor somewhere, that can be a pain in the.. But ye.

Procured the amber bottles from Specialty Glass in various sizes and 4 liters of 100ml nic from MFS. Ready to break down, store the majority and begin some mixing.
Do I need to clean the bottles or do they arrive ready to use? Dishwasher, pressure cooker or a boil?
This tread has been enlighten... although fairly expensive. I have been nudged to learn new things.
I appreciate all the input. vaping on my first build and enjoying greatly.
Looking forward to mixing.

I boiled mine, just to be sure. So there's no excess debris in them still.
I'd avoid the dishwasher if i were you, as they tend to leave traces left.

I don't use soap because I don't want to leave any in. Some people use cheap vodka to rinse and disinfect, pouring the vodka from bottle to bottle.

It does say cellu-cotton,but you have to watch because there is also cellu-cotton that is cotton.The rayon will say 100% rayon fiber on the top corner of the box.

I wind my coils on a machine screw @DavidOck . I have a pair of small embroidery scissors for cutting wick. I have some tweezers, kanthal from lightning vapes, a brush attachment from my dremel. Flat and phillips screwdrivers from glasses repair kit. Side clippers but nail clippers work just as well. Your kit can come from here and there, no need to buy an expensive one from someone who thinks you need or don't need this or that.

agreed,,since i try to be a minimalist,,i want as few tools as possible but they have to work well/duel purpose if possible. the only 'odd' tool i have is a 'seam ripper' (tool to pull seams out when sewing) i use it to 'tuck' my rayon into a couple of holes in the kangertech coil housing. i used to use a needle,, but if your hands are wet from juice,, it becomes a personal game of dare picking up the needle lol

I used to use Kf3.1 toppers, but I PIF'd them. A breeze to top fill and flip over to close and seal.

I just got 4 KFL+. Maybe I should put one in my line-up so that I can see the coil/wick/fill routine.

What works best and you can use to help the steeping process along
(I emulsify and my juice is ready to vape as soon as it's chilled) is an ultrasonic cleaner.
I've been meaning to buy one but haven't broken down yet because
I found I could get it done with a crock pot and magnetic stirrer
but it would come in handy as an autoclave for bottles and flasks.

I just stick my glass bottles in the crock pot at 150 degrees for a half hour.

I bought Kayfuns and haven't tried them yet but have some magnifying glasses on hand for when I do! LOL

I am in the same boat. I bought some kayfun clones from Fast Tech and am dreading trying to build on them. They were shipped today.

A couple of years ago I got a 'rocket kayfun clone' from Fast Tech when kayfuns were were the hottest thing in town. The rocket came with a built in coil and I Vaped it with much enjoyment.

The flavor was amazing but when that coil failed I put it away and haven't used it since lol. I didn't even build one coil on it. What a slacker I am !
