I have all mine split up, but when I get my last two liters I was going to wait to do it. You think keeping them in the liter makes it not last as long? What about if I got glass liters for it do you think that make a difference? My other liters are broke down in 120ml bottles.

I think it will last just fine in a liter. My liter oxidized because I kept opening it every 2-3 weeks for two years. I don't recommend doing that! It was in glass, which I think is best for any long term storage.

Cool. I plan on breaking it up sometime in the future before I'll use it anyway. I just don't want to buy more bottles right now. I'm focusing on hardware.

Well, no rubber-wrapped regulated mods in a Faraday Cage for me. Just some mech mods, drippers (and tanks), wire and cotton, and a few frozen bottle of nic base.

We are talking about FDA regs, not TEOTWAWKI right?

It's always about TEOTWAWKI! You can never be too prepared. I've been reading a lot of post apocalyptic and EMP books lately.

I was going by the thread title. :)

...and I've read some too - One Second After, Lucifer's Hammer - but haven't really gotten around to worrying about how I'm going to charge my batteries. I'm thinking there will be plenty of more pressing needs at that point.

Lucifer's Hammer is a classic!
Yeah, even if you kept batteries in a faraday cage/box what electricity would you have to charge them with? Ah, perhaps a solar power generator...but it probably has parts that would zap out in the case of an EMP. Unless, that is stored in a faraday cage as well. Just throwing some ideas out there. :w00t:

NO we are not talking about the end of the World.

The problem. Ameeica was hit in 1993, and again in 2001, our embassys were hit in Kenya, Benghazi, and others.

There are people out there that hate America, and want it destroyed.

Its a known fact they have been trying to buy a nuke. If they get their hands on one they WILL use it. If a nuke is used there WILL be an EMP. An EMP IS an easy thing to protect gear from. So i spent $8 to protect some gear from a possible threat.

Are you aware that a Muslim Cleric issued a Fatwa that it was acceptable to use nuclear and biological weapons to kill the infidel.

Yoy can laugh if you like but i will have the last laugh.

I can't find the pages where we were talking about juice calculators, but I wanted to add one note: I was specifically focused on online calculators because they're system-agnostic and you don't have to install them (and eJuice Me Up doesn't run on a Mac, for example, or on your phone, and I find this to be a HUGE downside). Anyway I just wanted to clarify because the discussion wasn't really comparing apples to apples. And I'd use eJuice Me Up in a heartbeat and pay for the privilege if they made it work natively on UNIX (or even better, on OS X or iOS). As it is, it's useless to me unless I want to run a virtual machine JUST for this app. I'm sure there are MANY in the same boat.

Sorry for missing your post, I saw this thread when it started but it's HUGE now lmao

Steam-engine.org has a DIY calculator I use! It's under the little droplet tab

Cool. So I would just have to order an extension cap when I order one. I usually do .5 - 1. but doing 1.3 is fine too as I am seeing now. I thought provari is a solid choice for long term reliability so I should pick one up. Hopefully they'll still have them cheap when I have money to do so.

Funny, when I used to use nautilus minis the ohms were 1.8. Oh, how some of our vaping styles change over time. Especially from going from cartos and evods and what not. My first vape experience was cigalikes but I moved up within a few months. I've been vaping for three years now and do not plan on quitting ever!
I bought a bunch of P2.5's at the recent sales, just for backup to the backup to the backup :D. I usually vape at 25W or so, but in a pinch I'll be happy to have a few safe mods that will most likely work a long time.

Hello all,
I am starting to stock up on Nic. I have 2 liters inbound, and plan to have 6 by August. My question, can someone point me to a good thread about transferring 1 liter bottles to smaller, more workable sizes?

Thanks!

There are a lot of systems. Here's mine. Long term storage is in 1 liter amber glass bottles. Those are labeled with date, contents, percent, etc. They are put in zip lock bags, wrapped in thin bubble wrap that's taped. Those are storedd on the freezer door shelf. One liter is divided iinto 4 250 ml bottles, labeled, in ziplock bags and bubble wrapped and sit on their sides iin the small shelf above the lower door shelf.

The active bottle is only in a zip lock bag. When the 4 small bottles are empty in 3 1/2 years I'll divide another 1 liter bottle. I transfer the liquid without a funnel, hand held. No spills yet. I emptied the first active bottle recently which I probably opened 30 times without warming first. There was no sign of any degredation during that year. The nic and the amber glass bottles came from MFS.

So, as someone who doesn't have a freezer to put Nic in at the moment (please no judging - my current loving situation with my parents means my chest freezer needs to stay in storage and I can't keep Nic in my parents freezer upstairs), would keeping something like the Nude Armor in their sealed containers in ammo cans in our cool basement for a year or so alter things too much? I may even use my food saver vacuum sealer to put an extra layer on the outside of the bottles. What do you think?

I'm far from an expert on this, learning more and more like most here, but I would say, based on all I've been reading, is if that you'd be fine if that is what your current situation is. I've heard some folks talk about keeping it in a dark, cool closet for lengthy time, with no degradation. Just keep in mind, that's only my thoughts...
I agree with jmur. If you can keep heat and light away you should be fine for short term storage.

oops, I should have read more before posting. I agree with everyone that has said you will be OK :D

I believe it will be OK, but vacuum sealer is not needed for glass bottles (not much better than cheese cloth).
