Somewhere out there
Wow. The Provari "Specials" page is getting thin compared to two weeks ago! The "Glow-In-The-Dark" is back though :p

Got three 2.5's and never thought about a 'Mini' before but maybe I need one now.
I keep thinking I should get another, have 2 mini 2.5's and a P3, would love another P3 but my CC is screaming NO more! LOL

For the newer members, this was one of my first mods after the cigalike, and is not only still viable, build-able for $7, VV, TINY, and almost bullet proof, but it's also adorable and requires NO rechargeable battery. I keep one in EVERY glove box. personal, motorcycles and work. The backup to my back-ups.

I have to stay purely within the rules when discussing e-liq.come on, help me here ;) There be Louis Hunters afoot...
Folks, check out [removed] it is one of the oldest ecig companies out there. You can get 200mg nic there, and other strengths as well. Browse around the site. They are also less expensive than most other places. It is good nic too, I have made several purchases from them.

I think these kinds of mods are great, don't get me wrong. Especially as a starting point. But I'd like to see it get more sophisticated than this. Wouldn't you like to be able to vape on something equivalent to the best we have available to us now, but have control over the means of production, so it can't be taken away from you? I sure would. I don't think I'm the only one. Plus the opportunity for expression and innovation is huge. So if you want to vape on 5 watts with an altoids tin, that's awesome! But there could be other options too.
Yep, so I bought a bunch of TC boards while I still can.
VV/VW is easy with off the shelf stuff, TC not so easy.

I made about 100 of above kits for ECF folks, they are no longer available but you can d/l plans for the enclosure here:
Evolv Reference Mod Files:
IGES Files - DNA200CaseIGES.zip
Solidworks 2015 Files - DNA200Case.zip
I took the above plans and slightly enlarged the case to hold a larger battery.

Here is a set of instructions I made on how to slap it all together:

From a fav vendor (Quicknic)
Live Facebook Broadcast 6/10 at 1:15 PM CST
Good Evening,

Right now is a time of huge change within this industry and it is very hard to keep up with everything. As a business, we are using every resource available to us to stay up to date. We are also doing our best to keep all of our customers in the loop with anything that may effect them. With that in mind, we feel that our short Facebook posts are not sufficient in the explanation of the changes that are going on in the industry as well as with our company. For this reason, tomorrow at approximately 1:15 PM CST, I will be hosting a live broadcast on the Quick Nic Juice Facebook page. Follow the link here to be directed to our Facebook to view the live broadcast. Topics of conversation tomorrow will include but are not limited to:

  • FDA Deeming Regulations
  • Online Sales
  • How we are joining the fight
If you are able to log on during the live broadcast there will be an open comments section, and I encourage you to ask any questions that you may think of during the broadcast.

I also understand that many of you may be unable to log in during the live broadcast. If that is the case you will still be able to view the broadcast after the fact. It will be available on our Facebook, and also on www.quicknicjuice.com in the "NEWS" section. We will continue to monitor the comments after the Live Broadcast to answer anymore questions that may arise.

Thank you all for your continued support of Quick Nic Juice, and I hope to see many of you logged in tomorrow during the live broadcast.

Best Regards,
Dan Thomas

Awesome information and everyone should print and file this for future use.
Great of you to share it!

Starting a thread here at ECF with alternatives may cause those alternatives to be deemed tobacco products by the time it is all said and done. Sounds ridiculous but, look how ridiculous this whole thing is really.

Interesting.
Considering that firmware downloads can be considered tobacco products, it's certainly possible.
I wonder what this means for all the YouTube videos showing how to build coils and mix juice?
The deeming regs are so (deliberately) vague that it could cause problems for those too.
Any such information should be protected by the First Amendment, but I'm sure the FDA won't let a silly thing like the Constitution get in the way.

Yeah I dont think rubber is gonna be much help with an EMP, but maybe I'm wrong. That faraday cage, on the other hand, might...
Let me explain this to you.

The energy will go around the outside of the Steel ammo can. Rubber acts as an insulator to keep the energy from getting to the electronik gear inside.

If you haven't, please take the survey at the top of the page. It is the first I've seen, that actually asks the right questions. Whether or not our Govt. cares about the ANSWERS, is another matter. But hope springs eternal, right?
I took the survey.
