I don't think it's worth criticizing people if they feel the need to hoard , it's also not wise to criticize those that don't feel the need to hoard.

I am not a "plan ahead" type guy which is not a good attribute . No doubt in my mind that if i hoarded the rules would never go into effect because i live "Murphy's Law.

If your a hoardmeister hoard till the cows come home , i'm not going to freak out over it .

I am sure you are right. I just wish I could predict when the stuff I actually want will go on fire-sale.

If you troll around you can find some of them now, example I picked up 3 good quality Tube mod's that were listed for $100, fire sale for $5 each. That and the Conqueror tank I got for $30 about a month ago I paid something like $30 I picked up two more for $16 each last week.

Actaully I ordered a squonk kit for my Disguiser mod I won. $17 and my Velocity Mini has a squonk pin, so I figured why not. Might even use SS TC mode for the first time.

Hey, a LOT of the folks I hang with swear by it. Just not my cup of tea. For me it is like the difference between a Stick Shift and an Automatic. I just want to hit a button and vape, squaonking I have to "think" about.

The mech mod is one of the 4.99 19650 Kato clones I got. the Serpent tank I got from Vapor Beast for a bit under $20.

FT has the Kato clones. But a lot more than 4.99.

The last time this all came around I didnt hoard/stock up/buy insurance/whatever. This time though it feels different.

Only time will tell. It will be very interesting to see what happens starting day 91. It is all up to them how vigorously they decide to enforce this, and they are being very coy about telling us what to expect. Look at prescription drugs from India, they really havent tried very hard to stop those. Will this be treated just as lightly?

With these regulations they do hold the necessary cards though, we just need to wait and see how they play them.

I also research what I could use the stuff I never use for before turfing it.

As an example, I had 30ft of 30ga kanthal that was going to be turfed as it is too thin for me to work with. I realized I could do a two strand twist on a drill and I am using the twisted 30ga on most of my new builds. Kinda like a poor man's Clapton. I love the stuff and just ordered 250ft from Lightning Vapes.

I do twisted 30ga toi. I find they vape better than single coils.

Yep, my gut says we're going to get bent over.

The major difference is the loss of major tax revenue the States have been using along with the Tobacco pay outs to the States by Big Tobacco. The motivation is much higher than a few box's of the blue pill from India.

The only people with a really rude awakening coming are the Sky is Falling stockpiling hoarders. Just like it is for Almost Every other the Sky is Falling! Stockpile! Well, I was going to use the stuff anyways, have been DIY'ing for well over two years now. I slowly built up an abundance of supplies in that time just being the nature of the beast in shopping for cost effectiveness. Collected the mods I like as a reward to myself for money not spent on smokes. A lot of stuff I got used or at deep discount clearance prices, it's a hobby as well as a NRT for me.

Seeing as the regs are already in place, I can only assume that you have an abundance of faith in our court system in ruling against these regs. Otherwise, what other factor lends you to be as optimistic ? Just being curious is all.

I dont squonk, I have tried it, and I have no further desire to do so again.

Knowing this, what reason could I possibly have to to go into a Bottom Feeder thread and tell them they are "wrong" for squonking? The only reason I can think of that I would ever do such a thing is if I simply wanted to stir up crap for the sport of it.

MY Real is of the Millions, possibly 20 million, of US Citizens that Vape....only a few hundred Thousand(if that) will be prepared for the worst and Many(if not most) will return to Smoking

Sadly, if not for availability, then High pricing on limited Crap will drive them back.

They did. I *think* I paid around $150 for my SS Mini that went wonky on me. Yes, $35 is a steal. I even consider the $50 ones to be a steal considering past prices. So I bought 4 more to add to the 2 I already had. Since I mostly use mechanicals anyway I figured 6 total would be a good amount of Provaris for the long haul for a little variety here and there. And......then I figured out that I have a $28 store credit at Provape. Can't leave that laying there , now can I?

I would hate to see someone Hoard now who really can't afford to. To everyone else I say Hey, Hoard On! There is the same good point here as there is with ALL the stockpile/hoard situations. The vendors/manufacturers RAKE IN the dough. Good for them. That's more money some can afford to kick into the industry advocate efforts. I've got no problem with that side of it.
