I learned this from a friend: Fill 1/2 of a 30 ml bottle of ground coffee. I used Cuban coffee because it's really strong.. Then top it off with PG and microwave for 10 seconds. (no longer). The Pg will absorb the coffee. Then top off again with pg, then place bottle in a hot water bath for 20 minutes. Strain mixture with a coffee filter. I used a funnel, and cut the filter to fit.

I used 3% coffee, 1% Bavarian Cream and 1% Caramel and It was the best Coffee liquid I ever had.
Sounds good! I have to try that when I get home. But I, too, will use the warm water method all the way rather than my microwave. Thanks!

And @mcol , thank you for the link to jewels thread! I didn't have the pleasure of knowing her, but her legacy lives on.

Yes, it's dark. It's straining now through the coffee filter. I'm going to let it strain overnight and try some mixing in the morning. Does it need to steep after it's been mixed?

I use mine at 3% and my juice is almost clear and has plenty of flavor. My favorite so far is the one that I make from Ghiradelli Chocolate Caramel Coffee. I picked up some sample bags of the Millstone in different flavors to try soon too. I love my Choco Caramel Coffee and it has been my ADV since I made it :)

Thanks Ravnhaus! I will definitely use this video!
I found that I learned a little bit from looking at several videos, and this one was the one that stuck out as a favorite of mine:

Phil Busardo also posted one, but it's buried in a review of two devices and over an hour long.

Please help me out by answering a few more basic questions about using the prebuilt coils on my STM. I am a low wattage, high ohm MTL vaper.

Will I need to use an ohm meter on the prebuilts? If so, do you recommend the Coil Master 521 or the Geek Vape version?

Will I need any tools to use the prebuilts? If so, should I buy one of those coil building tool kits? The only coil building tools I have so far is one pair of the ceramic tweezers.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Looking for advice on the building of the STM RBA.
I am getting crazy readings no matter which wire or bit I am using. Jumps radically from 1.1 down to .48 and back up. Tried with 26 gauge and tried again with 29 gauge. Anybody else had this happen. No steady reading

Have you tried tightening the screws to the coil? Sometimes if they are a little loose it can keep you from getting a steady reading.

Just a warning for anyone planning to stockpile ready made juice. I went through my box of old juices today. They are anywhere from 4-5 years old. From the smell, I wouldn't want to vape the vast majority of them! Some of them were like tar. Really nasty. These hadn't been refrigerated or frozen, but were kept in a box. I would definitely freeze anything you want to keep long term!

I've had similar problems from time to time, and in most cases it was a loose positve terminal on the RBA, which is can be tightened by putting a small screwdriver through the air holes on the bottom of the RBA, carefully snug it up. Hope that helps:).

Have had the same issues but it is still one of my favorite tanks. Especially the 7ML Subtank Plus.

    Try this:

Remove the RBA from the base.
Take the base and place the 510 side down on a counter. Press down on the base with the goal of pushing the 510 pin into the base as far as possible. (Piece of rubber insulator holds it in place.)
Screw the RBA back in and you should notice it pushing the 510 OUT slightly when screwing it in tight.

This usually gives me a solid connection and consistent resistance.

Let us know what you find, I for one would be curious if its not usual suspects. I have deeply invested in these STMs in the last month glad I tried them before the hammer. I thought Taifuns were great.

You're never been trained as a survivalist.

3 of my mods are wrapped in rubber and stored in metal ammo box just in case of EMP.

I have a question because I've not heard it your way.. I was planning on adding some silica gel packs to the bag, then (lightly) vacuum sealing, (keeping tested mod in original packaging in bag) then storing for long term in a closed Rubbermaid container.

What is the rubber for your talking about? I've not heard of it.
