Hi All--I will be posting some pictures of a small 3.7 Volt 900mAH mod that uses no glue, a protected battery, a 3 amp switch, a kill switch, lead free soilder, and air intake from the outside in the next day or so. I have been using this Mod for 2 months now without issue and the battery life is 10 hours for me easy. The original was a collaborative effort between myself, Misty and her spouse. This Mod can be made for an 801, 901, etc--- Everyone here who what's to take a crack at it I would be glad to help with questions---See you soon--Sun

Wow Sun....That sounds great...although 10 hours of batt life for you could mean 20 for us that vape twice as less than you!!.LOL...Looking forward to seeing this for myself!...and much appreciated for putting this up for the group as well!!:)The Wiz!

I've been looking into the LED's - I think they're more trouble than they're worth. Not sure if I'd even be able to fit one into the box mod - its a tight squeeze with everything already.

Vapor production/performance and battery life is top most important, I'd like to try get more JUICE into a better cart, but I don't know if thats possible at this point.

Wildsky--the led will fit in my simple box style--but it could cause you trouble down the road---Sun

here is my mod. I have been vaping it all weekend and I love it.
I used a battery box AA size and I am using a 10440 AAA size battery and I used foam to pad around it.
I got the batteries from an e-cigar I figured why buy just batteries when I can get them with a cigar and have them do double duty .
The batts last about 4-5 hours between charges and the cut off at about 2.7-2.9v
They charge fully in about 2-3 hours and charge to 4.19v
Great throat hit and good flavor from this unit.
Thanks to Nicowolf and youfill, you guys made it easy to do with all you advice and pics.

Thanks guys.
It was easy breezy, I left the wires long incase I wanted to wire in a LED.
I soldered this in my truck in Radioshack parking lot, I had drilled the holes before hand.
I am going to do a custom box/tube in the next version.

Tone--You smoke stack!!! Great Job--Looks like I will not have to post mine after all!!! It really is that easy and I bet you will never go back to regular e-cigs again---thanks!!! Sun

impressive, most! impressive tone:D Good job mate, i like the look of your mod, as someone said "very clean and neat work'

Emeralds got talent by the looks of things:thumb:. what kind of equipment do you need to make a Mod??

1) solder iron?
2) solder?
3) wires?
4) switches?
5) most importantly: The Mod body?
6) battery connection?

What else would i need to atempt making a Mod of my own?, I just don't have the time to devote to actually making one, that's my only problem:( i don't even get much time or am aloud to chat on here in emerald anymore for that matter ~Sigh

But i might as well give it a try, what have i got to lose:rolleyes:~Rick

OK Guys--Here is what I vape!!! This is the SunMisty!!!!!!! A combined effort with Misty and myself

P1010052_edited.jpg

All Black for Steath Mode vaping---801 Atomizer (out of the box--I like inhaling the outside air!!!!)

P1010058_edited-1.jpg

Protected 14500 Battery/ 3 Amp Switch/ Lead Free Solider/ Kill Switch/ NO GLUE!!!!

P1010055_edited-1.jpg

Original Battery Thread Connection--Closed off for Drip Free Vaping

P1010056_edited-1.jpg

Heavy Gauge Wiring

It kicks like a Mule!!!!! --Battery change is easy and quick and I have been having to only switch the battery out once a day around 8PM usually---

Using Mod"s like these really gives vaping a whole new experiance as there are really no issues ---As Tone points out, there is plenty of room to add an LED light if you like-Sun
