Thats right! I know many of you use the same online retailers to buy your items. Be it mods, juice and or tanks.
Lets hear from our membership.

The name of the Online Retailers should be mentioned.

My thoughts are that those owners might be happier being mentioned word or mouth (or internet) can make a business boom.
Hey, online retailers, we all know you could give us better prices. Think a little more like walmart. (this is only an example) You are going to have a nice profit if you lower your prices and drive consumers to you. Give us sales, coupons (ones that actually work when you enter them), give us an incentive you come to you. One might be surprised as to how loyal a consumer is when they get great prices. (This doesnt mean Lower prices then increase shipping cost. Retailers? You want us! You want our business!

So ECF..... Where do you shop online for your Vaping needs?
Do you use one online retailer for everything? Or do you get a little from here and a little from there?

Online retailers! Hear our Voice!

With the vast majority of the USA not served by a B&M locally (which would be substantially higher anyway) .. and since we are in a high growth phase for the PV .. there is little incentive to give huge discounts ..

What I would rather see is a Super Site that has a huge selection .. an American Fast Tech if you will ..

I heartily disagree! Walmart mentality is so offensive to me. First- theyve got international purchase power that no retailer in a start up
B&M store can match. As vape gear goes- we can go to fasttech for the bigbox store wholesale price wars and buy all the made in CHina gear we want. PVs are as varied as "brands" of analogs. we're always going to have customers with discriminating taste looking for the highest quality available-all the way down to your Kmart shoppers special of the day! I think there's plenty of online choices out there- it is maybe the case that you've not found the discount youre looking for? Have you ever owned and run a retail or wholesale business? I know ECF has the whole membership base from noob to large scale suppliers. retail in the US (I see youre in MN) is tough! HOWEVER the great news is, you have the option to shop in Hong Kong without leaving your living room! Maybe you want to find the backers to start up a buyers coop, your own Sams club? If so please post the first quarters white paper, prospectus and projections. If you garner the purchase power, Im sure you'll find the members to join.

Discount Vapors is great for parts, cartos; clearo's, just about anything E-cig, Eric is awesome, fast shipping, and low mark-up. That is my go to shop for accessories and parts.

Mount Baker Vapor is awesome for juice, great prices, great juice, super fast shipping. You can select pg/vg ratio and get extra flavoring in your e-juice. MBV also sells DIY supplies, nice clean nic juice.

I would also add that I would rather pay DV's and MBV's nominal mark-up than to have to deal with Fast Tec. I get what I order in 2-3 days from both of them, great customer service, no customs, no communication barrier if something does not work.

In this economy I am all in favor of helping someone in the US feed their family and pay their bills, especially when I know they are not ripping me off.

And I for one would pay more than Fasttech for the same selection in the USA, but I feel some of the online venders are really high on there profit margins. We need to approach Waly-Mart and get them to stock everything for us, everything they have is from China anyway. Just my :2c:

Sure .. I'd be willing to pay more as well .. the problem I see is the USA vendors are so fragmented .. you want something and one has it .. you want something else and they don't have it but another vendor does .. etc, etc ..

I would rather pay a bit more for great service, surprise freebies with my order, etc than only look for the lowest price (clearly, not a Walmart shopper). I think it is great that there are so many small vendors for vape gear and each gets to try and find their niche and ways to make themselves unique. That is not to say that I am not price sensitive, but hey, it is the internet and i can price check a bunch of sites in an few minutes. I also get my morning email from gotsmok that tells me who has what on sale (oh, and there is the big button above oddly labeled coupons that one could use if so inclined).

The race to the bottom is not really a race anyone should want to win. It does not service consumers or retailers.

I mostly buy from my local vape shop or specializied vendors such as ProVari, Ikenvape, and IBTanked, so competition does not really apply. The items I want are only available from that one vendor. The only exception is AW batteries, and from what others say RTD already has good prices.

I too do not often shop at WalMart because they only stock what they think I want. Well, they are wrong; I want choices. I can get them elsewhere for similar prices.

I don't think a US version of Fasttech is a good idea. When I was buying clearos and Egos I was loyal to online vendors who had good service, Price was not as important.

I get your general point OP, but vendors PLEASE don't start thinking like Wal Mart! Your employees (if you have any) deserve better! *steps off soapbox*

I prefer to avoid "walmart mentality" shops and would prefer individualize service that I get buying from smaller "boutique juice" sellers (even if I do have to stalk a portal and order 1 day a week) and Family run shops locally. That does not mean that I do not shop Fast Tech...if I need a dozen evods the only place I can afford them is at FT...but I will walk in and buy coils...the odd new atomizer I just must have, a new charger ect at my lovely B&M

Well at least you have a B&M, Here in BFE where I live I only have the option of online. But with all the venders in the USA there is not a store where I can get even Most of the things I order. In the last week I have placed orders at 5 different venders, around $200, would have preferred to just place one order. Really even FT would not have had everything I ordered, and I would have had to wait 2 to 4 weeks. Some venders listed what I wanted, but were out of stock, there was a lot of that.

So now the wait for Christmas later this week when I get all the packages. :2cool:

I don't one stop shop. Why should I? I don't wanna rely on any one vendor! I like supporting the ones who take care of me. I like having more than one source of vaping gear!

rounding third and heading home...
so many people say it shouldn't be a "race to the bottom" -who sells the most food? mcdonald's. who sells the most in retail? walmart. who sells the most vaping gear? fasttech. there is no one out there who can compete pricewise across a wide range of products. I wouldn't be surprised to find out how many web vendors are a one or two man operation. most , probably. they will never have the capital to compete with a walmart if walmart decides to get in the ecig business.. I like getting a few things here and there. it's not like i'm driving to each individual web-site. it's easy and fun and you know it's going to change in the future......be careful for what you wish for.....
