I quit analogs on 4-6-09 it was a little tough at first as my first e cig was not very good, bad batteries poor vapor... but I stuck with it, bought new e cigs that worked much better and than I moved on to the heavy hitters... the SD and magnum.

Stopped smoking real cigs on the day I got my first E cig. Gone from a 20 a day smoker to a 1ml 2 901 carts ( 11mg strength ) a day. Feeling healthier sense of smell and taste improving daily. Tried gum, patches and lozenges in the past they did not work for me. I am loving my vape Low nic within the next couple of months then on to Zero then probably stop, but if I do fall off the wagon at least I wont be doing myself as much harm and I wont be hurting ohers.

I smoke my last cig on march 27, 2009 and haven't looked back. But I love to vap doing all the time. I got my wife to try it, but she didn't like it to my disappointment! I was smoking about 50 cigs a day, my wife also! I will NEVER go back as long as I can vap my ecig! I am soooo gald I found these things! I also have tried to stop, using everything on the market, but none of it worked. I LOVE MY E-CIG

I quit On May 10th 09, cold turkey, just by accident a few days later, I saw an ad for an e-cig, ordered it, and am now in heaven! This marks my first full week of vaping, and I see no reason to ever go back to analogs, plus I feel better than I have in years.

I smoked a total of 22 rollies in the first 6 days of getting my 901 - that was in the place of 50-60 per day 8-o I have not touched tobacco since that 6th day, am now 7 months tobacco free (and I've been telling everyone it's 6 months - I gave myself 2 6-month anniversaries ).

The big hurdle for me is to start getting some exercise!!!

I quit about 3 days after I joined the forum. Smoked a pack a day. I started dripping 24mg in my penstyle. Not a great idea but atleast I was getting big hits and I had no urge to purchase any cigs.

I decided to try this out with a slim hope that it could perhaps substitute for a small portion of my 1.5 pack per day habit, but I fully expected it to fail at even that.
I haven't smoked a tobacco cigarette since the first day I got my PV.
The other day I found half a pack of cigarettes in my car and felt nothing, because I didn't need them anymore. I threw them away without even wanting to bother with one puff. Unbelievable.
I feel emotionally and physically far better than I did smoking.
My children are relieved and thrilled I finally found a way to successfully stop smoking.
For me personally, this has turned out to be nothing short of amazing.

I started vaping since February and never had an urge to smoke a Newport during that time. There were only a few instances where I had to resort to Newports due to batteries not working. But now I have enough of a supply, especially when my Prodigy arrives, to never need to resort to smoking cigarettes ever again. Officially quit April 13, 2009 and not looking back. Analogs now disgust me.
