I've been trying to vape discretely in a non smoking hotel. The maid knocked on the door right as I exhaled. She and her husband were waiving their hands in the air and commenting in their language. Don't know what they were saying, but they looked unhappy.

At least I don't use a tobacco flavor that might smell like a cigarette?

I had my gall bladder out about 4 years ago (not on NHS I might add). So I'm waiting in the room for the surgeon and I'm hanging for a vape so I thought why not, I'll open a window. I'd no sooner wafted the remaining vapor out the window when in he comes in.
He says "why does it smell of candy floss in here?"
I look back innocently, and deliver my finest Gallic shrug.
He scowls at the nurse as if she is somehow to blame, I felt moderately guilty.

Maybe if people could follow simple rules there would be no need for laws banning vaping
I am a little confused. Do you mean if we could vape everywhere they will
not ban vaping? Or do you mean if we do not vape anywhere they will not
ban it everywhere? It seems to me every ban I have heard of had nothing to
do with rude vapers just that we are vapers and should be banned.
These bans are not about health. They are to keep the general public from
interacting normally with us and making up their own minds. They say it's
about re-normalizing smoking. what they really mean is allowing to general
public to see how actually harmless vaping is to them.

I keep it simple, no smoking=no vaping!

Right and whether we agree or disagree, the fact is, we have no proof that our vape exhale will or wont affect others. Don't get me wrong, I'm of the opinion that it is better than burning tobacco but we still have to respect others. </2cents>
