If you love an Orange Creamsicle this DIY will not disappoint, smooth creamy orange goodness...
Total flavoring 18%
Orange Cream (TFA) 9%
Vanilla Swirl (TFA) 4%
Vanilla Custard (FW) 3%
Ethyl Maltol 10% diluted (TFA) 2%
Base of your choice (8mg/ml Nic 70PG/30VG typically for my mixes)
This has become one of my must-have juices which gets vaped daily, hope you enjoy
Working on a Raspberry-Orange variant, just made a full 30ml after my initial test batch, will post if the results are as promising as the test batch was...
I didn't have any fw VC handy so I whipped up a batch like this...
9% tfa orange cream
5% tfa vanilla swirl
2% tfa sweet cream
2% em10
65/35 pg/vg ratio, 24 mg nic
After airing out 24hrs and steeping a few days, it's ok but the orange note is very faint and I have no other oranges to try.
It's kind of a plain vanilla'ish taste with a very slight orang'ness, mostly on the exhale for me.
"Mongo not know", maybe the sweet cream flattened out the orange part.
I'm thinking of adding something to like maybe some raspberry or another berry with triacetin in it to pop up the orange note. ?
How did that raspberry-orange variant you mentioned work out for you ?

I wonder how using Capella Orange Dreamsicle would affect it. I have a 4oz bottle of that, but no TFA
I'm vapin' some 4+ week steeped in my ZAP as I type this, my intent was a more creamy variant than what is generally offered, to me most the store bought were far to much on the orange side. You could change the percentages some to bring out more orange and maybe even drop one of the creamy components, lots of ways to change this up
Funny you brought up the Raspberry-Orange variant, I was just mentioning in chat that I want to revisit other fruits and kind of have a few in a Creamsicles line-up...

Give it a shot, if the Capella flavoring is heavy on the orange it might come out pretty good, you could cut the creamy components a little on the first try, just sayin'

I used Capella's. At about a week in right now. It's not bad, but honestly, kinda floral. I'd rather have the creaminess. I'm new at DIY, so I don't know how the Capella's compares at all the the TFA, but I used the same %, 9. If anyone else can shed light on that, I'd be grateful. I considered adding FA Fresh Cream. Maybe still?

haha fa fresh cream makes the world go round lol..... I have capellas orange dreamsicle. ive used it from 5-15 %. its to me just ok. I like most capellas single flavored so this one was kinda a bummer but its an ok mixer for me . im actually working on an all FA orange dreamsicle. I have some samples I havent got around to yet but looks like we are getting snowed out of work today some maybe ill have time for fun stuff like sampling and mixing

Hey, great minds think alike. I'm currently vaping FA Vienna Cream with FA Orange. Reminds me very much of Dreamsicles, one of my favorite parts of summer. Fresh Cream has no vanilla flavor, so I used Vienna, mmm.
Thanks guys for all of these variations. A creamier version sounds nice, I'll have to try. I'm about to mix up an orange dreamsicle recipe I saw on another thread that sounded great also. TPA Orange Cream and TPA French Vanilla with perhaps a dash of marshmallow and lemon. I will report back!

any word on the raspberry orange ? sounds good. watermelon raspberry and cream is awesome. I was thinking about a cherry or black cherry and raspberry also.. trying to get some ideas for today, this orange raspberry might be it lol

Well right after mixing the recipe Orange Dreamsicle by IconoclastMunkey that I mentioned above with TPA Orange Cream 7%, TPA French Vanilla 7%, TPA Marshmallow 2%, TPA Lemon 1% to me it is pretty good, but not quit there...I know TPA's Orange Cream smells just like a dreamsicle though...maybe a steep will help...I've been really bad about waiting for that process, but I know it's important. Now onto your recipe Uno Mas, I'm excited!

I like the idea of a touch of lemon. A lot. I, too, am looking for the creamy over a blast of orange. My ADV before I jumped into DIY is a Vanilla Ice Cream base, with a double shot of orange and throat hit. I have to believe it's the FA orange....... there's a very popular thread about this guy in the DIY. I love the mix he makes. I don't need to duplicate it, he's a master.

This is one of the first recipes I ever tried to mix but I never had the custard :S tried using cheesecake instead, it was okay.
I just re-mixed with FA Vienna Cream instead of the custard and it's a Major Winner!
